The bathrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything, and the water pressure is fantastic – I know that sounds like such a dad thing to notice, but honestly, it makes such a difference when you’re trying to wake up in the morning. One thing I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even when the place is full. You’d think with an 8.6 rating they’d be packed constantly, but somehow the sound doesn’t travel much between rooms.

The whole operation just runs smoothly, you know? Check-in was painless, the WiFi actually works throughout the building (including in the elevator, which always impresses me), and they’ve got this nice little setup where you can grab coffee pretty much any time of day. I spent a good chunk of one afternoon just hanging out in their common area, catching up on emails and people-watching – it’s got this relaxed vibe where you don’t feel rushed or like you’re taking up space. The cleaning staff is thorough but unobtrusive, and parking was way easier than I expected. Look, I’m not saying it’s perfect – the walls could use a fresh coat of paint in some spots, and the breakfast selection is decent but not groundbreaking – but for what you’re paying, it’s honestly a solid choice. If you’re looking for a place that gets the fundamentals right without any pretension, Vere Side Hotel delivers exactly that.

  Perfect location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are new and clean, beds are comfortable. We stayed in the double room with terrazza, and the outdoor space was much bigger than expected – with seating as in the pictures.
  
  Also, there is no private parking in front of the hotel, but we found a free spot every time. The hotel also offers 1-2 spots in their private parking space under the building.
