But beyond that, you’re within walking distance of the old town’s winding streets and those famous sulfur baths everyone talks about. The hotel sits in this sweet spot where you can easily explore the historic areas on foot, but you’re not dealing with the chaos and noise of being right in the tourist thick of things. I actually slept really well here, which isn’t always guaranteed in city center hotels.

The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star property – clean, comfortable, with that signature Mercure style that’s becoming pretty recognizable. Nothing groundbreaking, but honestly, sometimes that’s exactly what you want. The bathrooms are modern and the beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this stuff). What I appreciated were the little thoughtful touches – decent lighting for actually reading, enough outlets for your devices, and windows that actually open, which is rarer than it should be these days. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense to me because while it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, it delivers consistently on what matters most. The breakfast was surprisingly good too – they had some local Georgian options mixed in with the standard international fare, and the khachapuri was actually authentic, not some watered-down hotel version. If you’re looking for a reliable base to explore the city without breaking the bank or dealing with boutique hotel quirks, this place hits that mark really well.

Management, administration, security guards, cleaners, everyone is very friendly and responsive, always ready to help, to advise. The place is very convenient, the location is the city center.My check-in was at 3 o'clock, I asked and they accepted me earlier. They gave me a room with the view I asked for.I would like to thank all the staff and say a big thank you for everything they have done.I was very pleased.
