The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around, and honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve slept in recently. The bathroom setup is smart too – they’ve got this rainfall shower that actually has decent water pressure (trust me, I’ve stayed in places where you’re basically getting misted). One thing that caught my attention was the attention to soundproofing; even though there was some construction happening down the street during my stay, I barely heard it from my room on the third floor. The little details matter here – fresh flowers in the common areas that actually get changed regularly, coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting in a pot since dawn, and towels that are fluffy without feeling like they’re trying too hard to impress you.

You can tell this place takes guest feedback seriously because that 9 rating isn’t just a fluke – it feels earned. The housekeeping team is thorough without being intrusive, and room service (when I tried it on my last night) arrived faster than promised and was still hot. I particularly appreciated that they stock the minibar with local products alongside the usual overpriced snacks – it’s a nice touch that shows they care about showcasing the area. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many hotels still struggle with that. If I’m being completely honest, the only minor complaint I’d have is that the elevator can be a bit slow during peak check-in times, but that’s hardly a deal-breaker. What really sets MariaLuis Hotel apart is that it feels like a place that genuinely wants you to have a good stay, not just get you in and out efficiently. The staff seems to actually enjoy working there, which creates this relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger in the lobby with a coffee rather than rush off to your next destination.
