lovely Dulcet Loft In Center Of Rustaveli Overview

I just got back from a stay at the lovely Dulcet Loft In Center Of Rustaveli, and I can’t wait to tell you about it. The hotel is nestled in Tbilisi, right on Alexander Griboedov Street, just a stone‑throw from Mtatsminda and the winding lanes of the Old Town. I remember the moment I stepped out of the elevator—there was that instant buzz of city life: vendors shouting, the scent of freshly roasted chestnuts wafting from a nearby stand, and the distant hum of a tram. The lobby was surprisingly cozy, with a couple of local artists’ canvases hanging on the wall, and the staff greeted me with a genuine “Dobro pozhalovat!” that felt less like a scripted welcome and more like an old friend’s nod.

Check‑in was quick, but the little quirks made it memorable. The front desk was staffed by a young man who spoke both Russian and Georgian; he had a knack for remembering people’s names after just one encounter. He handed me a key card and a handwritten note with the best spots to visit on a rainy day—things like the hidden courtyard behind the Metekhi Church and the little café on Gorgasali Street that serves the best khachapuri. He also pointed out that there’s free Wi‑Fi in the lobby but not in the rooms, which turned out to be a minor inconvenience when I tried to catch up on a show during a late‑night craving for the local stew. Anyway, I got my room in no time, and the bellhop made sure the luggage was tucked away before I could even say “thanks.”

Room 402 was a delightful blend of modern chic and Georgian charm. The bed was a cloud‑like platform with crisp linens that felt like a warm hug in the middle of the city’s heat. The bathroom had a rain shower that was surprisingly quiet, which is a big win in a place that can get noisy at night. I could hear the faint clatter of a nearby street market even from the bedroom window, and the scent of jasmine from a potted plant on the balcony—a subtle reminder that the city’s gardens are still alive. The mini‑fridge had a few Tbilisi local snacks: a pack of khashlama, some dried apricots, and a bottle of local wine that I savored with a glass of house‑made black tea. It was the small touches like these that made the stay feel personalized.

Outside, the neighborhood was a vibrant tapestry of life. Walking down Alexander Griboedov Street, you’re greeted by an eclectic mix of cafes, souvenir shops, and the occasional street musician playing a melancholic tune. The street is not too far from the Tbilisi Funicular, so if you feel like breaking a long day’s walk, you can hop on and see the city from above. For dining, I recommend the little place near the Rustaveli intersection that serves “baduri” (vegetable stew) with a side of fresh bread—it’s a local favorite that I discovered by accident when the bellhop suggested it. I also took a quick detour to the Freedom Square, which was in full swing with tourists snapping photos and a group of kids chasing each other around the fountain.

Parking is another win: there’s a small street parking lot just a block away, and the hotel’s staff will let you know the exact spot if you ask. It’s surprisingly easy to find, even during peak tourist seasons. The only downside was the noise from the street at night; the hotel’s windows are solid, but the city’s lullabies—honestly, the distant chatter and the occasional siren—tend to seep through if you’re a light sleeper. However, I found that the gentle hum was almost like a lullaby for the city, and it didn’t disturb my sleep more than once.

All in all, the Dulcet Loft In Center Of Rustaveli delivers a genuine Tbilisi experience. It’s not a glossy, over‑polished resort; it’s a place where the locals feel at home, and the

Reviews of lovely Dulcet Loft In Center Of Rustaveli

  • Exceptional – Tamari from Italy – May 20, 2025 (10/10)

Very nice location and big apartment

What could be improved: Very nice and welcoming people

  • Wonderful – Merve from Turkey – December 18, 2023 (9/10)

Our check in was a little delayed due to cleaning. But the host offered us to put our luggage in his car and he even gave us a ride to the liberty square.
The loft is really big and comfy. And even though it was late December the loft was very hot. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom was looking good and clean but it was smelling really bad. I guess it has something to with the city's sewage system. There were everything in the loft. Washing machine, iron, glasses and pots. The location is really close to the subway station and it's really close to the opera house.

What could be improved: The smell in the bathroom was really disgusting sometimes. But when you close the bathroom door it doesn't smell in the whole loft.

  • Amazing stay with a great host. Highly recommended – Sergey from Germany – May 24, 2024 (10/10)

    Location and the host

  • Excellent loft in the city centre – Ewan from Netherlands – December 12, 2023 (10/10)

    The paintings, the bed, location

What could be improved: It would have been better if the sleeping room upstairs has a door as well

  • Pleasant – Ibbo from Sweden – January 7, 2024 (6/10)

    Good location.

  • NOT recommended!!! Terrible! – Edina from Bosnia and Herzegovina – July 14, 2023 (1/10)

Nothing is good about this apartment except the location.

What could be improved: We arrived in front of the old building in the centre of Tbilisi (the location is excellent) but thought that OK, even if it is old building it might be good inside. Only to discover a horrible entrance and corridor, full of old things that smell badly. We climbed to second floor where the apartment is located and to get to the apartment you need to pass by an old lady’s flat. The door of that flat is open, almost constantly, there is a table in front of the door where she disposes different things and the smell is unbearable. In front of the apartment doors there are numerous old things. The door is not very safe, could be easily broken in. The apartment itself looks nice at first, but then you discover very old furniture, the bed on the upper floor of the apartment is terrible, we could not sleep on it, every move one makes is followed by terrible noise the bed makes. The biggest issue was the bathroom that smelled so badly and that smell spreads all over the flat. It was literally unbearable. We told the owner, I sent the message in the middle of the night because I could not sleep, that we are leaving the apartment in the morning and that we want our money back. We managed to get back money for two nights (we actually reserved it for four nights). And he asked us not to write a bad review. I am writing this review because I would not like more people to be caught in the trap of nice photos on Booking only to discover proper trash when they arrive there. It cost us nerves and more money since we had to reserve new accommodation in a very short notice. Would NOT recommend this apartment at all!

  • Beautiful and cozy loft with amazing lighting and everything we needed. The location is amazing and really close to sigh – Anonymous from Germany – August 20, 2025 (10/10)

Super comfortable and cozy, beautiful lighting and it was clean

What could be improved: Everything was fine

  • Exceptional – Khachatryan from Armenia – July 8, 2025 (10/10)

– Eldaniz from Russia – May 12, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: неплохо бы что-то сделать в ванной, чтобы не шёл неприятный запах (видимо, отсутствует сифон в сливе) – каждый раз приходится затыкать район слива сырой тряпкой.
но при заселении нас об этом предупредили, так что, в целом, это не стало проблемой.

  • Exceptional – Алина from Russia – August 21, 2024 (10/10)
