Khedi Hotel Tbilisi Overview
I stayed at Khedi Hotel Tbilisi, a 4‑star gem in the heart of Tbilisi. The first thing you notice is the clean, almost minimalist lobby – not the gaudy, over‑the‑top décor you find in some of the newer chains. The staff greet you with a smile that feels genuine, and the check‑in process is quick, no long waits at the desk. The manager even offers a free local map and a tip about the best time to hit the Sangareya Café, which is just a 10‑minute walk down Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue. (Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the “free map” at first, but it turned out to be pretty handy.)
The rooms themselves are a blend of modern and cozy. The bed is a king‑size with those extra‑soft pillows that make you want to stay in the room all day. The bathroom feels like a small spa – white tiles, a deep bath, and a shower with a great water pressure that feels like a mini rainstorm in summer. I appreciate that the Wi‑Fi is fast, but the connection can lag a little during peak tourist season, so if you’re a heavy downloader, you might want to save huge files for the weekend. The windows look out onto Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue, and on a clear day you can see the silhouette of Mtatsminda Park in the distance; it’s not too noisy, thanks to the thick walls, which is a relief if you’re an early‑bird or a late‑night sleeper.
Parking is a mixed bag – there’s a small paid lot right next to the hotel, which is great if you’re driving from the airport; you’ll pay about GEL 5 for the day, and the staff will hand you a keycard. If you’re staying in the city center and don’t need a car, you can park on the street on your way to the hotel, but be prepared for a tight spot and a few meters of crosswalk traffic. I parked on the side of Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue and had to shuffle my luggage through a narrow sidewalk, but the hotel’s front desk offered a small bag drop‑off at the front desk if that helps. (I wish they’d have a more spacious shuttle, but the one they do have is a 12‑minute ride to the airport, which is fine.)
The dining options are decent but not stellar – the on‑site restaurant serves typical Georgian fare, but I found the khinkali a bit too salty for my taste. The breakfast buffet, however, is a solid start to the day: a spread of fresh fruit, local cheeses, and a choice of hot dishes that keep you full until lunch. I also took advantage of the 24‑hour room service, which delivered a quick pizza and a bottle of wine to my room on a rainy Tuesday evening. The staff were polite, but the waiter seemed a bit rushed, perhaps because the hotel was busy with tourists heading out to the Old Town. (Just a heads‑up: if you’re staying during the peak summer months, you might want to book a table in advance.)
What really makes Khedi Hotel Tbilisi feel like a place you’d want to revisit is the attention to detail in the common areas. The lounge has a surprisingly good selection of books and board games, and there’s a small indoor garden that smells of fresh herbs – something I didn’t expect in a hotel lobby. If you’re a night owl, the noise level is surprisingly low, thanks to the thick glass windows and the fact that the hotel is tucked away from the main traffic lanes. I could hear the distant hum of traffic, but it didn’t interrupt my sleep or my late‑night podcast listening. (You know what? – I

Very cool hotel in heart of Tbilisi. – Liana from United States – September 1, 2025 (10/10)

Amazing place with a good restaurant – Evgeny from Cyprus – August 30, 2025 (9/10)
Very nice place, helpful staff, really good restaurant at the rooftop.
What could be improved: Location is not very convenient for taxi drivers. Also air conditioning in the suite was too loud when at maximum power (at medium it was just fine)A great place to stay in Tbilisi – Katerina from Russia – August 29, 2025 (10/10)
This is the second time in Khedi and it's again a wonderful experience: friendly reception people, beautiful room, tasty breakfast and amazing view from the restaurant terrace.

One of my absolute favorite hotel in entire Georgia – Tanya from United Arab Emirates – August 26, 2025 (9/10)
I have stayed in many places across Georgia, and I can say without a doubt that Khedi Hotel in Tbilisi is one of my favorite. From the moment you step inside, you are wrapped in an atmosphere of stylish comfort and genuine warmth. The design is a perfect blend of contemporary elegance and traditional Georgian character – think sleek lines complemented by warm wood and subtle local artwork. It’s incredibly chic yet supremely cozy. The rooms are impeccable. The bed was very comfortable, and every detail, from the lighting to the amenities, is thoughtfully curated. It’s a true sanctuary in the heart of the city. But what truly sets Khedi Hotel apart is its unbeatable location. You are right in the pulse of old Tbilisi, with charming cobblestone streets, fantastic restaurants, and historic landmarks just steps from your door. It’s the perfect base to explore everything, yet it remains a quiet and peaceful retreat from the city's vibrant energy.

Wonderful – Bilal from United Arab Emirates – August 19, 2025 (9/10)
Beautiful room, comfortable beds, nice clean bathroom, good breakfast, central location
What could be improved: None of the staff had a smile on their faceWonderful – Komal from India – August 14, 2025 (9/10)
The room was spacious with beautiful Georgian decor…when we entered we were happy to see that the place we had booked was the right one!
The food in both Sushi bar and the 7th floor restaurant was also remarkable with hospitable staff.
What could be improved: We checked out from the hotel at 9am. There was no staff to help us to carry our heavy suitcases from the room till the reception, as there was no lift to the room we were staying in.
Rest all was 👍Exceptional – نايف from Saudi Arabia – August 14, 2025 (10/10)
One of the best hotels we booked, very clean comfortable and cozy!
