You know what struck me first about Kalasi Hotel? It’s one of those places that actually lives up to its 4-star rating without trying too hard to impress you. I mean, when you walk into the lobby, there’s this understated elegance that feels genuine rather than stuffy – and honestly, that’s harder to pull off than you’d think.

The rooms have this perfect balance of modern comfort and character that I really appreciated. The beds are properly comfortable (not those rock-hard mattresses some hotels think are “premium”), and the bathrooms have enough space that you’re not bumping into everything when you’re getting ready. What I loved most though was the attention to small details – like having enough power outlets where you actually need them, and blackout curtains that work properly. You know how frustrating it is when hotels overlook these basic things that make or break your stay.

The staff here genuinely knows what they’re doing, and I got the sense they’ve been doing it for a while. Check-in was smooth, but more importantly, they were helpful without being hovery – that sweet spot where you feel taken care of but not suffocated. The 8.5 rating really shows in these interactions; people clearly leave happy. I stayed during what seemed like a busy period, and even then the service didn’t feel rushed or impersonal. The breakfast spread was actually pretty impressive too – not just the usual sad continental fare, but proper options that change daily. And the coffee? Well, let’s just say I didn’t need to hunt down a café first thing in the morning, which is always a good sign.

  Had the pleasure of staying in Kalasi for 5 days, ut was delightful experience. The hotel staff were welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the daily room cleaning service. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of keeping the room tidy and fresh. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious and offered variety of options to suit different tastes. However, the only downside was the noise outside the hotel. The hotel is located in a busy area and the street noise could be heard from our room, especially during the night. This made a bit challenging to get good night's sleep at times.

  The location is in the center of Tbilisi, very easy access to nearby tourist spots. Room is clean , if you wish a less noisy environment ask for room that does not face the road. Breakfast is okay , though not so much of a selection but the food is fine. Staff are great.
