Hotel Wine Palace Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Hotel Wine Palace? The name actually delivers on its promise – and I mean that in the best way possible. I’ve stayed at plenty of places that throw around fancy names without backing them up, but this 4-star spot genuinely feels like someone who really loves wine designed every corner of it. The lobby has this warm, almost golden lighting that reminds me of late afternoon sun filtering through a glass of good Chardonnay, and honestly, that’s probably intentional.

The rooms are where this place really shines though. I’m talking about thoughtful touches that you don’t expect – like proper wine glasses (not those flimsy hotel cups), a small wine fridge that actually maintains the right temperature, and even little tasting notes left on the desk about local varietals. The beds are seriously comfortable too, which matters more than people think when you’re planning to explore during the day. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even when the place is fully booked. The walls must be well-insulated because I never heard my neighbors, which is pretty rare these days. The bathroom had this rainfall shower that took forever to heat up – minor complaint, but worth mentioning – though once it got going, the water pressure was fantastic.

Staff-wise, these people actually know their wine, which sounds obvious but you’d be surprised how many themed hotels hire folks who can’t tell you the difference between a Pinot Grigio and a Pinot Noir. The front desk team was genuinely helpful with recommendations, not just for wine bars but for regular restaurants and local spots too. Check-in was smooth, maybe ten minutes tops, and they had my room ready even though I arrived a bit early. The whole vibe feels more like a boutique place than a chain, if that makes sense – there’s personality here that you don’t get at those cookie-cutter business hotels. With a 9.3 rating, I can see why people keep coming back. It’s one of those places where you can tell someone cared about creating an actual experience, not just providing a bed for the night.

Tbilisi’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Georgian tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring wine tour services and authentic Caucasian hospitality.

Reviews of Hotel Wine Palace

  • Krzysztof from Poland (10/10)

The owner and all the staff were super nice and friendly – and they made my stay here a real pleasure. My room was nice, spacey and tidy, and the view from my window (on the 6th floor) was amazing. The whole hotel in general was like that, clean and pretty. I also loved the wine cellar, besides drinking it was a great place to socialize and meet new people. I think it's my favourite hotel yet and I hope to stay here again someday. <3

Oh, and the location was also great – it's very close to the metro and besides that there are a few restaurants and 24h supermarkets nearby. And it's just out of place enough to not have all the annoying noise from main streets.

  • Sergei from Russia (10/10)

The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, making it easy to access public transportation. The breakfast offerings are plentiful, providing a wide variety of options to start your day. The rooms are clean and spacious, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the hotel features a wine cellar that is open for tastings. The owner is a very pleasant man who is always ready to assist with any needs you may have. His helpful and friendly demeanor made my stay very enjoyable.

  • Iryna from Belarus (9/10)

I arrived early in the morning, and the man at the reception was already waiting for me, so I checked in very quickly. Thank you!
Plus, my mobile internet worked fine in the room, so I haven't even used the local Wi-Fi

  • Tra from United Arab Emirates (8/10)

Hotel Wine Palace is a cute boutique hotel near major "bank street" with lots of shops, stores, etc.. The rooms are spacious with EXCELLENT water pressure, balcony, contemporarily designed with wood floors, wood furniture. The breakfast had a nice selection of foods (hot and cold) and runs until 12.00 noon. The two ladies serving breakfast are very nice. The staff are friendly and polite. The owner, Giorgi, is lovely, showing us the cellar filled with wines by his family, and giving us taste tests of the reds, whites and cha cha. He even offered me a bottle when I departed.

  • Anton from Cyprus (10/10)

An incredibly hospitable host! I also highly recommend visiting the wine cellar at least once 🙂

  • Vlatko from Croatia (10/10)

Breakfast is standard, quality of the food is great! Location is good. Staff is very professional and friendly. Owner offered me a coffee on my arrival, invated me for wine testing. Said me to go to eat something as it still was breakfast time even that was not in my arrangement! I was not hungry, but pretty cool, isn't it?
I asked him for my friends who were in other hotel (in the neighborhood) to come for testing, he sad- for sure! He gave us a few bottles of wine, as a present, after non limited testing.
And all that for 72 euros- 2 nights with breakfasts. Top top top!!!

  • Rovshan from Azerbaijan (10/10)
