And the breakfast situation is solid – they do this mix of Georgian specialties alongside the usual international stuff, so you can try khachapuri if you’re feeling adventurous or stick with eggs if you’re playing it safe. The coffee’s decent, though I’d still recommend finding one of those tiny local cafes for your serious caffeine fix.

I think what makes this place work is that it doesn’t try too hard to be something it’s not. It’s not pretending to be a luxury resort, and it’s not going for that sterile business hotel vibe either. It just does the fundamentals really well – clean rooms, helpful staff, good location for exploring on foot – and then adds these thoughtful touches that show they actually care about the guest experience. The whole check-in process was smooth, parking was straightforward (which is honestly a relief in Tbilisi’s winding streets), and when my room‘s air conditioning started making weird noises on the second night, they had someone up to fix it within twenty minutes. No drama, no excuses, just sorted it out. That’s the kind of thing that sticks with you, you know?
