First Impressions

When I first pulled up to Guesthouse TTT-2, I’ll be honest — it doesn’t scream “fancy hotel” from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you. This four-star guesthouse sits quietly on Gujareti I Street, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it. The moment you step inside, you realize the owners have put their energy into making guests comfortable rather than impressing passersby on the street.

Location & Getting Around

The location in Tbilisi actually works really well — you’re close enough to the action without being right in the tourist chaos. Gujareti I Street is one of those residential areas where you get a feel for how locals actually live, which I found way more interesting than staying right in Old Town. What really sold me though was the parking situation. Finding a spot for your car in Tbilisi can be a nightmare, but here you’ve got free private parking right on site. Trust me, if you’re driving around Georgia, this is worth its weight in gold.

The Room Experience

My room was clean and comfortable — nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked properly, which isn’t always a given in this part of the world. The bed was actually quite good, and I slept well despite some street noise early in the morning. The bathroom was modern enough, with decent water pressure and hot water that stayed hot. I mean, these might sound like basic things, but when you’ve stayed in enough places around the Caucasus, you learn to appreciate when the fundamentals are done right.

Service & Atmosphere

The staff here genuinely seem to care about making your stay work out well. They’re not overly formal or anything — it’s more like staying with people who actually want to help you figure out the city. When I needed directions to a specific restaurant in Sololaki, the front desk person didn’t just point me toward a map; they actually called ahead to make sure the place was open. Little things like that make a difference when you’re trying to navigate a city that can be pretty confusing for first-time visitors.

Why Guests Love It

Here’s the thing about Guesthouse TTT-2 — it’s not trying to be something it’s not. Couples seem to really appreciate this place (and honestly, I can see why), because it gives you a comfortable base without all the fuss of a big hotel. You can come and go as you please, park your car without stress, and actually get some useful local advice when you need it. The neighborhood feels safe for evening walks, and you’re still close enough to catch a quick taxi or marshrutka into the center when you want to explore. Sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just let you settle in and be comfortable — and that’s exactly what this guesthouse does well.

  The host is a very nice and helpful man who lives next door. He is friendly and speaks good English.

  Отдельная часть дома, много места, к сожалению душ без перегородок, поэтому было постоянно сыро.
  Есть парковка, хозяева радушные,дали карту проездную.
  Есть стиральная машина,можно постирать и повесить белье на улице.
  
  What could be improved: Белье очень старое, кое-где даже рваное,на катышках, кровати односпальные-матрасы жутко неудобные,мебель старая,диван плохо пахнет,в туалете пахло канализацией.
  Район далеко от центра, ближайшее метро 10 минут и магазин возле метро, неудобно.

  What could be improved: Нет окон, в нашей комнате запах от туалета кошки, мокрицы в туалете. Ощущение старости.. Вместо одеяла с подъодельником, старое порывало… Был уставший и было поздно, съехали на следующее утро. Я спокойно живу в палатке.. Мои требования не высоки, здесь ниже, чем в палатке.. Фен обещали, не принесли. Мы оплатили и все равно остались во всём виноваты: и нос у нас не такой и бизнес их рушим.. К сожалению, одно из самых ярких впечатлений от поездки: Переехали в отель и счастливы.

  Очень удобно – до метро минут 7-10, пешком до центра около 2км.
  
  Хозяева приятные и гостеприимные, угощали фруктами. Есть милый внутренний дворик, в котором можно работать, а можно скоротать вечер за интересной беседой с хозяевами.
  
  What could be improved: Wi-Fi под нагрузкой падает. В часы пик бывает проблемой.
