Guest House Natia Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Guest House Natia on Iveria Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Tbilisi’s old town. This four-star property sits right in the heart of the city — and I mean really in the heart, not just marketing speak. The building has that perfect blend of Georgian charm and modern comfort that’s honestly hard to find. What struck me first was how quiet it feels despite being surrounded by the city’s energy, like you’re stepping into a peaceful pocket of authenticity.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s remarkable about this spot? You can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Tbilisi. The sulfur baths are just minutes away, and you’re practically next door to the winding streets of the old town where locals still hang their laundry from ornate balconies. I watched couples strolling hand-in-hand to Narikala Fortress at sunset — no wonder the location scores so high with romantic travelers. The fact that there’s free private parking is actually a huge deal here, since finding a spot in this part of town can be a real headache otherwise.
The Accommodation Experience
The rooms at Guest House Natia feel more like staying with a sophisticated local friend than in a typical hotel. There’s attention to detail that goes beyond the standard four-star checklist — think carefully chosen textiles and furniture that actually reflects Georgian style rather than generic hotel decor. The beds are genuinely comfortable (I’m picky about this), and the bathrooms are well-appointed without being flashy. What I appreciated most was the sense of space and the way natural light fills the rooms during the day.
Daily Life & Atmosphere
Mornings here have this lovely rhythm where you can hear the city waking up — church bells mixing with the sounds of vendors setting up in nearby streets. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the best khachapuri spots that tourists usually miss. I mean, they’re not just reciting rehearsed recommendations; these are people who actually live and work in this area. The whole place has this relaxed but refined atmosphere that makes you want to linger over coffee and plan your day slowly.
Why Guests Love It
Honestly, it’s the combination of being perfectly positioned and genuinely welcoming that sets this place apart. You’re staying somewhere that feels authentically Tbilisi — not a sanitized version of it — while still having all the comfort and service you’d expect from an upscale property. The high ratings make complete sense once you experience how seamlessly everything works together: the location that puts you in the middle of everything worth seeing, the thoughtful hospitality, and that rare feeling of being a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through.
Best hotels in Tbilisi range from charming boutique properties in the historic Old Town to elegant hillside hotels with stunning views of the Mtkvari River and Narikala Fortress.

Wonderful – Madel from United Arab Emirates – December 8, 2024 (9/10)
The place is close to the city and u can save a money coz u can cook your own food and very convenient to the grocery stores and to old town city.
What could be improved: No shampoo and soap but it’s fine.Great place! – Katharina from Austria – August 18, 2024 (10/10)
I am very pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The place was clean and we had very comfy beds, a kitchen, a own bathroom and even a washing machine! The WIFI worked very well, and it was great that we had the opportunity to park our car in the alley of the Appartement- so we don’t had to pay for parking. The owners were also very nice and kind. The location was very central to the old town- just 5 minutes to the clock tower. Would definitely stay here again!
Fair – Michel from France – September 23, 2023 (5/10)
Good location in a quiet street
What could be improved: Very dark. The family's washing machine is inside the room, which means persons may enter anytime to use it, whether you're inside or not. The owner is not friendly at all (presenting her hand the very first minute you arrive : "money". )Good – Rod from United States – August 27, 2023 (7/10)
Location
What could be improved: Lack of privacy. You’re essentially sharing this space with the owner couple only.
