Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location here is pretty much unbeatable — there’s a reason couples rate it 9.9 for romantic getaways. You can walk to Narikala Fortress in about ten minutes, and the famous Abanotubani district with its domed sulfur baths is right around the corner. The Mtkvari River is just a short stroll away, and you know what’s great? You’re close enough to everything that you don’t need taxis, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you actually get some peace. I loved being able to grab fresh khachapuri from the local bakeries nearby — the kind of spots only locals really know about.

The Rooms

The rooms at Gsth Mila strike that sweet spot between comfort and character. Mine had high ceilings and these beautiful hardwood floors that felt authentically Georgian, not like some generic hotel renovation. The bathroom was modern and spotless — which, let’s be honest, matters a lot when you’re exploring a city all day. What I appreciated most was the attention to details like good lighting for reading and enough outlets for all your devices. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, which isn’t always a given in smaller properties like this.

Practical Perks

Here’s something that’ll save you headaches — they actually have free parking on site, which is pretty rare in central Tbilisi. If you’re driving in Georgia (and the mountain roads are incredible), this is a huge advantage. The staff speaks excellent English and they’re the kind of people who give you real recommendations, not just the standard tourist stuff. I mean, they pointed me toward this tiny wine bar that I never would’ve found otherwise. The whole operation feels personal and well-run without being stuffy.

  Один из лучших вариантов за все время моих путешествий. Был даже утюг с доской, фен, молчу уж про свою кухню, просторные помещения, два телевизора, большой холодильник.

  Отдельный дом в самом сердце Старого Тбилиси. Во дворике стол и кресла. Завтракали и ужинали на улице. Всё чисто и полностью укомплектовано. Четыре минуты пешком до Серных бань. Ночью полнейшая тишина. Милейшая хозяйка.
