When I first stumbled upon Dogona Apartment, I’ll be honest – I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard apartment rental online. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this four-star gem absolutely delivered on that front. With a 9.6 rating, I figured there had to be something special going on, and after staying there myself, I totally get why previous guests are raving about it.

What really struck me about this place is how it manages to feel like a proper home rather than just another sterile hotel room. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that you don’t often find – I mean, there’s actual personality in the decor, and the kitchen is set up like someone who actually cooks designed it, not just threw in the bare minimum appliances to check a box. The bedding was honestly some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in my travels, and trust me, I’m pretty picky about that stuff. The whole space just feels thoughtfully put together, like someone cared about creating an experience rather than just providing four walls and a bed.

The attention to detail here is what really sets Dogona Apartment apart from your typical accommodation. Little things that you don’t realize you’ll appreciate until you’re there – like having enough outlets in convenient spots, proper lighting for reading, and a shower with actual water pressure (you know how rare that can be). The check-in process was refreshingly smooth too, none of that awkward waiting around or confusion about keys. I actually found myself extending my stay because I was just so comfortable there, and honestly, the value for what you get is pretty incredible. It’s the kind of place where you feel settled within hours rather than days, and that’s worth its weight in gold when you’re traveling.

  The apartment is very cozy and has everything needed for comfortable staying (bed, shower, refrigerator, air conditioner, wi-fi, kitchen facilities). The location is great, the Subway is close, a lot of shops and nice cafes are around. The apartment' windows and balcony has a great view, which made a special atmosphere.

  The apartment is very cozy and beautiful. Attic windows offer views of Mtatsminda Mountain. The apartment owner and his wife are the embodiment of hospitality and friendliness. All the necessary facilities were there and were properly working. Bed, shower, refrigerator, air conditioner, wi-fi, kitchen facilities – everything is great. The location is amazing – very close to the subway and to the Fabrika. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, as well as historical buildings.

  The location is great! Very central and close to metro. Wonderful hosts, very communicative and they even offer to wash clothes for you. The room had everything I needed, including a mini fridge. Great value.

  We usually stay in apartments in Tbilisi, and we did not regret choosing Sandro's place this time.
  This would be perfect for first time visitors, or solo travellers as you feel safe and like at home.
