Citadines City Centre Tbilisi Overview
Right in the heart of the city, Citadines City Centre Tbilisi feels like a home away from home. I spent a weekend in Tbilisi and found this gem tucked between Freedom Square and the bustling streets of Vake. The building itself is a sleek modernist block, but the vibe inside is surprisingly cozy. The lobby has that warm stone finish that makes you think you’re in a Georgian café rather than a hotel. The staff greet you with a smile that says, “You’ve made the right choice.”
The rooms are spacious, which is a relief after a day of strolling the old town. The bed is king‑size with memory foam sheets that actually feel like a cloud if you’re into that kind of thing. I slept through the city’s night traffic because the windows are double‑glazed, and the only noise is the occasional distant trumpet from a nearby jazz club. The bathroom is a mini spa—plenty of hot water, a deep soaking tub, and those tiny hand soaps that smell like citrus. The kitchenette stocked with a coffee machine, a mini fridge, and a kettle means you can whip up a quick breakfast instead of hopping between cafés.
Check‑in was smooth; the concierge knows the best shortcuts to the old bazaar, so you can skip the long lines. Parking is a bit of a hunt; the building has a small underground lot, but you’ll want to book in advance during the spring festivals when the streets are packed. Speaking of which, the area is buzzing from February to April when the Tbilisoba festival lights up the city, so expect crowds and a vibrant energy. If you’re looking for a quieter night, the hotel’s rooftop bar offers a panoramic view of the illuminated Narikala Fortress. I lit a candle on the balcony and watched the city pulse below, feeling the warm Georgian breeze carry the scent of fresh bread from the bakery across the square.
One thing that caught my eye was the tiny living room in the lobby that doubles as a small library. It’s filled with Georgian literature and some vintage posters from the Soviet era—an unexpected nod to the city’s layered history. The staff even offered me an extra pillow if I needed it, and the Wi‑Fi is fast enough that I could stream my favorite playlist without lag. For those of you who love local food, the hotel’s breakfast spread includes khachapuri and a variety of fresh pastries that taste like they were made just that morning. All in all, Citadines City Centre Tbilisi is a place that feels like a local, not a tourist trap, and it’s the kind of spot that makes you want to recommend it to every friend who’s planning a trip.
Tbilisi hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Georgia’s cultural capital, known for its legendary wine culture and unique architectural blend.

Budget friendly stay in a great location – Sudheendran from India – August 28, 2025 (8/10)
Centrally located, very neat and clean, comfortable with very good air conditioning
What could be improved: Bed is too soft. Breakfast too expensive for the choice of buffet menu. A la carte option not available. House keeping service very slow. Complementary supply of water only on day 1Great start and end to our trip staying here, and excellent location. – Wei from Singapore – August 26, 2025 (10/10)
Great stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable and we had a very pleasant time. We stayed at the beginning and the end of our trip, and the staff kindly kept our luggage stored safely and securely till we returned, no additional payment needed for luggage storage.

Hotel was neat and clean with an excellent location right near Freedom Square.
• Room and toilet were both clean and of good size.
• Beds and pillows were comfortable, making the stay relaxing.
• The kitchen was well-equipped, with almost everything you need to cook food easily.
• A lot of restaurants and shops are located around the hotel, and a nearby shopping center has all the major food chains.
• Staff was polite and helpful.
What could be improved: The hotel entrance sign should be clearer and more visible at night, as it’s a bit difficult for new guests to locate.
• Room service is not available after 6 PM, which can be inconvenient.Great place to stay if you are traveling with your family! – Emma from United Arab Emirates – August 12, 2025 (10/10)

Gem in the heart of Tbilisi – Galina from Russia – July 30, 2025 (9/10)
I liked the gym most. You could use it 24/7 which is extremely convenient by unlocking it with your room card. It,s small but well oganized and the equipment is workable. Clean and has AC.
The location is perfect – very central, adjacent to the freedom square.
We had a bedroom and our daughter sept in the living room. Everything in the hotel is thought-our carefully and is well maintained. We may come there again for a short stay.
What could be improved: We wish they had a balcony – but it is a rare thing in the centre of big cities.A perfect stay in the heart of Tbilisi—central location, safe and lively surroundings. – Mohammed from Saudi Arabia – July 25, 2025 (10/10)

We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our family trip to Tbilisi! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city with many major attractions just a short walk away. The area is vibrant with an exciting nightlife, beautiful architecture, and a wide variety of Halal food options close by. We felt completely safe walking around, even late in the evening.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and supportive throughout our stay, especially the reception team, who went above and beyond to assist us. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home.
The breakfast was a great highlight—with several Halal options available, and the staff were happy to prepare eggs in separate pans upon request. I highly recommend trying it!
Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tbilisi.
