Brosse Garden Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Brosse Garden on Mari Brose Street, you immediately get the sense that someone put real thought into this place. It’s tucked away in Mtatsminda, which honestly feels like discovering a secret pocket of Tbilisi that most tourists rush past on their way to the cable car. The building itself has this understated elegance — not flashy, but you can tell it’s a four-star property the moment you step inside. There’s something refreshing about a hotel that doesn’t try too hard to impress you right off the bat.
The Mtatsminda Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying in this neighborhood — you’re actually in the heart of things without feeling like you’re trapped in tourist central. Couples seem to get this immediately (they rate the location 9.5, which makes total sense), because you can walk to the old town but retreat to somewhere that feels more residential when you need a break. The funicular station is close enough that you don’t need to think twice about heading up to Mtatsminda Park, and honestly, having that option right there changes how you experience the city. You know what’s really nice? There’s free private parking here, which if you’ve ever tried to park anywhere near Rustaveli Avenue, you’ll appreciate more than you might expect.
Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this calm, uncluttered feel that actually helped me sleep better than I expected. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked the way it should — good water pressure, reliable wifi, and windows that actually block out street noise when you close them. I mean, it’s not going to blow you away with dramatic design, but sometimes you just want a space that feels comfortable and well-maintained. The beds are properly firm, and there’s enough storage space that you’re not living out of your suitcase the entire time.
Breakfast Worth Mentioning
The breakfast setup here surprised me in the best way. They’ve got this whole range covered — continental, vegetarian, vegan, halal, American style, buffet, even breakfast to go if you’re one of those people who likes to eat while walking around the city. What struck me wasn’t just the variety, but that everything actually tasted fresh and well-prepared. The local Georgian options mixed in with more familiar choices meant I could try something new without worrying about going hungry if it wasn’t my thing. The restaurant space itself feels bright and welcoming, not like an afterthought the way hotel dining areas sometimes do.
Why Guests Love It
Look, Brosse Garden isn’t trying to be the most Instagram-worthy hotel in Tbilisi, and that’s exactly why it works so well. The 9.4 rating reflects what you actually experience — solid comfort, thoughtful service, and a location that gives you options without overwhelming you. It’s the kind of place where you can plan your days without feeling rushed, where the staff knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations, and where you’re not paying for amenities you’ll never use. Sometimes the best hotels are the ones that just get the fundamentals right and let you focus on why you came to Georgia in the first place.
Early hotels booking in Tbilisi requires advance planning during peak wine seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s legendary hospitality and thermal springs.

Reviews of Brosse Garden
Raj from India (10/10)
The staff Levan & George at the reception and a young boy, I was happy with the service they provided. They were friendly and helpful which was what I liked about them.
The hotel was in a pretty good location (15-30 minutes max by walking distance) Close to many attractions, supermarkets & restaurants.
I liked the view from my room with the balcony, they have some rooms with decently sized balconies with table and chairs.
The breakfast was good, I liked it. Had a nice salad every morning which changed every 2-3 days. Even though I preferred the first salad with lettuce & corn. The deserts weren’t great. Not like shown in the images on booking.com. Never had any Pain au chocolate, Croissants or Chocolate Torsades. They need to change their toaster, takes too long to toast a bread. The scrambled egg recipe needs to be improved, 1 day I had a scrambled egg with veggies which was better than just the plain scrambled eggs I had for my entire 10 nights in this hotel.Gaurav from India (10/10)
Look and feel of the interiors. The breakfast buffet was also decent. Just 2 km from downtown city center. Parking facility for our car. There was good enough storage space in room to put the stuff. Nice view from hotel terrace.
Everything was greatAilsa from United Arab Emirates (10/10)
The location is excellent. The hotel is a 15 minute walk either to the metro or to Liberty Square. From there it was easy to access interesting restaurants.
The breakfast is fine. There was a wide range of foods on offer which provided interesting insights into what other cultures enjoy at breakfast. Empty serving dishes were replaced.and there was something for every taste and preference.Kesiya from Ireland (10/10)
