Brand New Apartment with Terrace Overview
I recently spent a weekend in Tbilisi and decided to stay at the Brand New Apartment with Terrace because the listing promised a “home‑away‑from‑home” vibe—something I thought would be perfect after a day of wandering the city’s winding streets. When I pulled up to the address at Amagleba street, 37B, flat 1, the building was a modest two‑storey block that looked like it’d been there for decades, but inside it was a clean, almost minimalist loft. The check‑in was surprisingly quick: a digital key on a small screen, no front desk, just a friendly voice on the speaker that said, “Enjoy your stay.” I mean, it was all very modern and low‑maintenance, which was a relief after the chaos of public transport.
Walking out of the building, I was hit with the scent of freshly baked khinkali from a bakery on the corner of Amagleba and Mtkvari. The terrace itself had a small table and a couple of chairs, and from there you could see the old stone arches of the Metekhi Bridge in the distance—perfect for a quick photo op at sunset. I took a few selfies, the sunlight catching the cracks in the ancient stone, and then I headed over to Freedom Square, a ten‑minute walk. The square’s chatter, the street performers, and the smell of grilled kebabs on a hot day—honestly, this is how you feel the pulse of the city.
Inside the apartment, the kitchen was surprisingly well‑equipped: a single burner, a small fridge, a coffee maker that actually worked, and a kettle that boiled in no time—great for my late‑night espresso ritual. The bedroom was a snug space with a queen‑size bed that had that slightly “new apartment” feel—soft sheets, but a bit too flat for my liking. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower had a nice water pressure, and the tiles were cool under my feet on hot afternoons. The noise level was decent; the building’s insulation kept the street traffic at bay, except for the occasional distant honk that reminded me I was still in the city.
I parked my car on the street outside the building, which was a bit of a challenge during the summer rush, but the city’s parking meters were clearly marked and the rates were reasonable. I also took a quick detour to a nearby café on the corner of Sukhishvili and Kote Abashidze, where the barista knew my name after the first visit—small touches like that make you feel like a local rather than a tourist. The apartment’s Wi‑Fi was fast enough for streaming my favorite shows, and the TV had a decent selection of local channels, though I didn’t get to watch any live sports.
All in all, the place is solid for a short stay. The only real critique is that the apartment’s small size can feel a bit cramped if you’re bringing a lot of luggage or if you’re used to a larger space. But honestly, for someone who just wants a quick, comfortable spot to recharge between exploring the city’s historic sites and sampling the local cuisine, this apartment with terrace is a great pick. If you’re planning a visit, I’d suggest booking early for summer months, as the city gets a bit more crowded, and maybe bring a small towel set—there’s no laundry service in the building, so you’ll need to do a quick wash yourself. Overall, it’s a cozy, practical base that lets you dive straight into the heart of Tbilisi without any of the usual travel headaches.

Reviews of Brand New Apartment with Terrace
Exceptional – Damien from Ireland – April 7, 2025 (10/10)
The location was perfect … 15 min walk to the old town…close enough to the action but still away from it so it was peaceful. The terrace was excellent with a beautiful mountain view… we often sat and had a glass of wine there in the evening. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and Keti was the perfect hostess

What could be improved: Nothing.Perfect – Rahul from Germany – August 16, 2024 (10/10)

I’d stay again – Victoriia from Ukraine – April 6, 2024 (10/10)
Location, facilities, terrace, the view, owner 🥰
What could be improved: We had to re-wash some dishes because it wasn’t clean from the start, but not everything, so it’s fineA wonderful place to stay in Tbilisi – Viktorija from Luxembourg – September 11, 2023 (10/10)
The apartment is a short bus ride from Liberty square (bus no 374, but also some others) or a 20 min walk away. It is also close to the scenic path above the city that leads to the Mother of Georgia and Narikala castle. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious and clean. It was a perfect, peaceful place for me to relax in Tbilisi after a long day out exploring the city. The owner Keti was kind and made me feel welcome.
What could be improved: Really nothing to dislike.Exceptional – Patrycja from United Kingdom – September 19, 2022 (10/10)
The apartment had everything we need for our stay. Bonus was the terrace with swing and lots of sun 🌞. Close to centre ( few minutes by taxi, 16-20 min by walk)
What could be improved: N/aA pleasant experience overall – Arslan from Turkey – July 1, 2025 (7/10)
The house was clean. The owner gave us the right instructions to enter the house a day before our arrival. She also proposed us an exchange bureau with best rates. The terrace was a good place to spend time. The place was close to the markets and other places. To the city centre, it was about 15-20 minutes of walking. It had the main appliances necessarary. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
What could be improved: The apartment was not "brand new" anymore actually. It was easy to see that some of the stuff in the house had been in use for a long time. The bathroom did not have a proper ventilation system. In addition, there was no complimentary wine in the house in contrast to the explanation indicating that there will be one in the profile of the owner. The warning notices all around the house about what to do and what not to do (such as "keep it clean" or "do not flush anything except toilet paper into the toilet") were unnecessary and did not make us feel welcome. And, not directly related to the house but there were some drunkards in the street of the house.Exceptional – Natalia from Russia – August 27, 2025 (10/10)
Просто отличная квартира и замечательная хозяйка. В квартире все есть необходимое. А терраса вообще великолепна, вечером так хорошо посидеть и насладиться тишиной и природой.

Exceptional – Olga from Russia – August 13, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: В принципе понравилось все. ну может немного вдали от центра – минут 20 , но приятно было пройтись по узким тбилисским улочкам
