Bethlehem Terrace Overview

You know what honestly surprised me about Bethlehem Terrace? I walked in expecting just another decent four-star spot, but this place actually has character – and I mean that in the best way possible. The lobby has this warm, lived-in feeling that’s hard to fake, with local artwork that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel supply catalog. The staff genuinely seemed to know the area well (not just the touristy bits), which became obvious when I asked about dinner recommendations and got some real insider knowledge instead of the usual scripted responses.

The rooms themselves are thoughtfully designed – nothing flashy, but everything works properly, which honestly matters more than fancy marble when you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep. I particularly appreciated the blackout curtains (they actually block light, unlike some places I’ve stayed) and the fact that the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The bathrooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into everything, and the shower pressure is solid. Small detail, but the bedside outlets are positioned where you can actually use them without unplugging the lamp – whoever designed these rooms clearly travels themselves.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to local touches. The breakfast includes regional specialties that you won’t find at chain hotels, and the concierge service goes beyond just handing you brochures. They actually helped me navigate some tricky local transportation timing that saved me a frustrating afternoon. The 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it consistently delivers on the things that actually matter to travelers. The location works well for both business and leisure stays, with easy access to the main areas without being right in the middle of late-night noise. Parking is straightforward (no hunting around cramped garages), and check-in was refreshingly efficient. I mean, it’s the kind of place where you’d be comfortable bringing your parents or sending a colleague, which says a lot about the overall reliability and comfort level.

Hotels in Tbilisi offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this Caucasian gem, with easy access to museums, thermal baths, and traditional restaurants.

Reviews of Bethlehem Terrace

  • Evgenii from Germany (10/10)

it was quite difficult to find the apartment, but the owner met us somewhere around and took us to the place.

  • Maria from Russia (10/10)

Great appartment up the hill in old Tbilisi, yet just 10 min walk to key city attractions, offers a stunning view over the city. The appartment is well done, has everything for a comfortable stay. Driving up there is tricky, going by foot implies climbing quite a few stairs. But all this is compensated by the charm of the district and the appartment itself and by an incredible view from the terrace

  • Ivika from Estonia (9/10)

Apartment is in superb location being in the heart of the old town, its spacious, has 2 bathrooms. All you need to have for a nice vacation.

  • Attila from Hungary (10/10)

The accommodation is spacious, located above the city center with a great view. The host is very kind and helpful. It is worth taking a trip with him in the area, or even further.

  • Jesper from Finland (10/10)

Friendly staff. We liked everything. Would definitely visit again.

  • Tatiana from Russia (10/10)

The location and the place itself are amazing: you can walk up to mother Georgia/cable car station/botanical garden or down to get to the old city, baths and pedestrian bridge (5-10 mins). We enjoyed the view from the terrace and windows every evening. The apartment had everything we needed. We'll definitely stay again.

  • Rudenkov from Netherlands (10/10)

The view from Bethlehem Terrace is simply breathtaking. Nestled on a hill, it offers panoramic vistas of the city that are nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to the sight of the historic city spread out before me, with the ancient architecture and the tranquil surroundings, was a delight every morning. Whether it was the sunrise casting a golden hue on the city or the city lights sparkling at night, the view was a constant source of awe and inspiration.

  • Nikolay from Russia (10/10)

This is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed as a tourist and during business trips. Very good location in old Tbilisi on a hill with an amazing view of the whole city. Apartment has 4 rooms (3 bedrooms and living room), kitchen, 2 bathrooms, very nice garden and a terrace: everything is great. Me, my wife and children had a real feeling of living in old cozy Tbilisi experiencing a famous Georgian hospitality.

  • Zsolt from Hungary (9/10)

Nice view of the city, spacious apartment.

  • Александра from Kazakhstan (10/10)

I liked the host, locations (The Old Tbilisi, centre, Mother of Georgia and other noted places are near) and interior very much. Everything was very pleasant, especially the balcony. I would recommend it everyone and I hope I will visit this Place once more.
