Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Apartment Old City, I wasn’t expecting much. It sounds pretty generic, right? But you know what, sometimes the most understated places surprise you the most. This 4-star spot has this incredible 9.7 rating that honestly made me curious enough to check it out, and I’m really glad I did.

What struck me right away was how the place manages to feel both lived-in and polished at the same time. The apartments – and they really do feel like proper apartments, not just hotel rooms with a kitchenette thrown in – have this authentic, local vibe that you just can’t fake. I mean, you can tell someone actually thought about how people live day-to-day instead of just passing through for a night. The kitchens are properly equipped (I’m talking real knives that actually cut things, not those sad hotel butter knives), and there’s enough counter space to actually cook if you want to hit up a local market. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout – I worked from the dining table a few mornings and had zero issues, which is more than I can say for a lot of places.

The thing that really gets me about this place is the attention to details that matter but that most hotels completely miss. Like, the shower pressure is actually decent, the beds don’t have that weird hotel smell, and – this might sound silly – but the lighting is warm and comfortable, not those harsh fluorescents that make you look like you’re dying. The neighborhood itself has this relaxed energy during the day, though it does pick up in the evenings (nothing crazy, just… alive, you know?). I found myself walking around just to explore, which doesn’t happen often when I travel. There’s this little coffee place about two blocks away that locals actually go to – not a tourist trap – and the woman who runs it remembers your order after like, two visits. That 9.7 rating starts making perfect sense when you realize it’s all these small things adding up. You’re not paying for fancy marble lobbies or doormen in ridiculous uniforms, but for a place that actually works the way you need it to work, with people who seem to care that you’re comfortable.

Hotel in Tbilisi booking should be done early, especially during harvest season when the city hosts internationally celebrated wine festivals and cultural events.

  Квартира находится в самом центре Тбилиси, недалеко от пр. Шота Руставели, рядом расположены магазины, кафе, рестораны, банки и прочие. Апартаменты с отличным ремонтом, в квартире очень чисто и уютно! Есть все необходимое, даже более для комфортного проживания и отдыха( современная бытовая техника, посуда, средства гигиены: шампунь, гель для душа, мыло, туалетная бумага и тд). Владелец апартаментов очень приятный, интеллигентный человек, окажет помощь в любом вопросе! Все очень понравилось, рекомендую! Мы обязательно вернемся

  Najbardziej zwróciłam uwagę na czystość. To jest naprawdę rzadko spotykany poziom. Mieszkanie zadbane, urządzone z dbałością o detale. Śliczne. Posiada wiele udogodnień. Sprzęty nowe, dobrej jakości. Niesamowicie wygodne łóżko, pościel bardzo miła w dotyku. Klimatyzacja bardzo pomaga przy upałach. Na powitanie dostaliśmy wino od Właściciela. Kuchnia wystarczająco dobrze wyposażona. Duża lodówka.
