Apartment 1905 in Tbilisi, Avlabari Overview
When I first stepped into Tbilisi, the city felt alive in a way that only the mornings can. The air was crisp, and the scent of roasted chestnuts from a cart on Kartuli Street mingled with the faint, sweet perfume of the nearby Tbilisi river. I was heading to Apartment 1905 in Tbilisi, Avlabari, and honestly, I could feel the buzz of the city already humming through my nerves. The apartment itself is tucked into the historic Avlabari neighborhood, right on Sartichala Street 20, and it’s a stone’s throw from the sulfur baths and the old town. The first thing I noticed was the front desk—small, but the staff were warm and offered a quick, friendly tour before the night shift took over. Check‑in was a breeze, no long lines, just a quick exchange over a cup of strong Georgian coffee (you know what, that was the real highlight). The room was a generous space, with exposed brick walls that gave it an industrial chic vibe, and the floor-to-ceiling windows opened onto a balcony that overlooked the city’s skyline. The balcony area was surprisingly quiet, even though the street below is busy; the building’s insulation does a good job of dampening the noise from the traffic on the nearby Sabaidze Street. You could hear the distant hum of the metro, but it was almost like a distant heartbeat—nothing that disrupted the peace inside.
Inside, the apartment was a tasteful blend of vintage and modern. The kitchenette had a few appliances (a kettle, a toaster, a small fridge), and the décor was a mix of Georgian antiques and contemporary art. The bed was surprisingly comfortable—firm but not too stiff—and the linens were crisp, a definite plus for a long stay. The Wi‑Fi, I have to admit, was spotty at first; I had to move closer to the router, but overall it was decent enough for scrolling through travel blogs and streaming Georgian films on the flat screen. Parking is a bit of a challenge if you’re driving; there’s no free street parking, and the nearest paid garage is a short walk away, but the hotel does offer a partner parking spot for a small fee. When the night came, the city’s lights began to twinkle, and the distant sound of a live band from the old town’s open-air cafés drifted through the air—an oddly comforting soundtrack to a quiet night. Overall, staying at Apartment 1905 felt like stepping into a well‑curated home that didn’t feel like a hotel at all, and that’s the kind of authenticity I love during my travels.

What could be improved: Nothing.Friendly – Tsz from Hong Kong – January 1, 2025 (8/10)
The flexibility arrangement and friendly staff. The bed is comfortable, and bedsheets are so soft. The area is quiet. Close to a supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Nearby restaurants. Equipped with kitchenette, refrigerator.
What could be improved: The smell inside the toilet. Always with the smell of feces. Probably carried by the drainage channel. Some distance away from metro.Exceptional – Fabienne from Switzerland – December 14, 2024 (10/10)

The neighborhood is super cool and central. Staff is quite helpful and the apartment is newly furnished.
What could be improved: Self check in would have been better. Toilet cover was broken and the shower didn't have door so whole toilet is wet when take showerEnjoyed every day without any doubts… – Bekhtin from Saudi Arabia – August 25, 2024 (10/10)
The apparent located in the proximity of the old Tbilisi town with all amenities. Nice, cosy and quiet place with everything you need. Grocery store located within 2 minutes walk. If you are fancy local breads , there are plenty of bakeries around the house within 5 minutes walk. Can’t say anything bad about this place. If you want to stay in the real Tbilisi and enjoy the vibes of the old city. This is the right place. It is well recommended….
