Apart Hotel Georgia Gold Overview
I took a trip to Tbilisi last month, and I stumbled upon the Apart Hotel Georgia Gold on Vakhtang VI Street—just a stone’s throw from the bustling Rustaveli Avenue. Honestly, the first thing that caught my eye was the quirky mosaic on the lobby wall, a little nod to traditional Georgian patterns that feels both old‑school and fresh. The check‑in was smooth as butter: the front desk staff handed me a digital key, and I could skip the long lines that usually get me in the city. I mean, you know how chaotic things can get around the metro station—well, the hotel’s corner location means you can hop on the Sioni station in a few minutes, but the lobby’s quiet vibe is a nice counter‑balance.
The rooms themselves are a blend of modern minimalism and Georgian charm. I stayed in a suite that overlooked the city, and every night I could hear the distant hum of traffic, the occasional church bell, and the faint rustle of leaves from the small courtyard garden that the staff keeps tidy. The bed was surprisingly comfortable—firm but not too firm, and the linens had that subtle floral scent you get from fresh cotton in a warm climate. The bathroom was a surprise too: a deep soaking tub that made me feel like I was in a spa, and the shower had a good water pressure that turned a quick rinse into a mini‑relaxation session.
When I stepped outside, the street was alive but not overwhelmingly noisy. The side cafés had the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the smell of warm khachapuri, and I could see a group of locals chatting over tea in a corner—a truly authentic slice of Tbilisi life. A few steps away, I found the Tbilisi Botanical Garden, a lush oasis that’s a must‑visit in spring when the flowers are in full bloom. Even in the winter, the garden’s frost‑kissed trees give a different, quieter charm. Parking is a bit of a hassle: there’s a paid lot behind the hotel, but it’s quite pricey, so I’d suggest using the public parking on the opposite street or taking a short walk to the metro. The hotel itself has a small underground storage for bikes, which is handy if you’re exploring on two wheels.
One thing to note is that the hotel’s front desk is open 24/7, which is great if you’re a late‑night traveler, but the staff can be a bit overwhelmed during peak tourist season. I did a quick check on the app, and the reviews mentioned that the staff is friendly but sometimes slow to

Great Stay, Nice people, no issues
What could be improved: N/AGreat base near Tbilisi if you are coming with a car. – Anton from Latvia – May 7, 2025 (10/10)
We stayed 4 nights in Georgia Gold 2 bedroom apartment. Since we were coming with a car and I was not interested in driving into Tbilisi never-ending traffic jams and parking nightmare, I decided to opt for a hotel 10km away from the city center and take a taxi (11 lari, 25 minutes drive with some jams) and enjoy Tbilisi without the car. There is also a bus stop, exchange and small shop in 2 minutes walk. Buses were also very frequent even in the late evening, but we did not have a chance to use them.
The hotel street is parallel to the big road into Tbilisi, but there are few buildings in front of it which prevent the noise, so we did not hear the traffic. We got the apartment number 1, which is the closest to the entrance. The apartment is 3 levels, the hall is on the 2nd floor and 2 bedrooms on the 3rd. Huge hall with well equipped kitchen. Each bedroom with its own bathroom. Rooms are spacy and with new furniture, beds are comfy. Overall great base for exploring Tbilisi and nearby areas. The personnel is nice and helpful. Thank you very much!
What could be improved: The area around the hotel is not residential, and it was a not obvious to find the entrance.
if in trouble put Toyota center Tbilisi in GPS, turn right just before reaching Toyota center, and then next crossing again right. pass by car wash and there will be a glowing sign of Georgia Gold.Wonderful – Yuanhong from China – November 30, 2024 (9/10)
The apartment is very clean, the host couple are kind. I have to leave earlier then planned, but they are so good and refund me unused days.

Excellent apartment, very friendly lady, she let me to stay in the apartment until late in the evening
What could be improved: I liked all, only didn't like the terrible traffic , but it's so usual in Tbilisi, everywhere.Budget friendly yet highly exquisite stay – Aanabaiyan from United Kingdom – October 31, 2024 (10/10)
The hotel had all accessories necessary, I was surprised they even offered a washing machine and a kitchen to cook in considering I only booked a room with a bathroom. They offered me this due to staying there for over a week. The room was clean, no dirt or insects lying around. Bed was super comfortable too! Above all the hosts are very kind, especially an old man that works there – he offered to pick up my luggage upstairs to the room and even put it in the boot of my taxi when I was leaving.
