Boutique Hotel Point Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Boutique Hotel Point on Iveria Street, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Tbilisi’s old town. This four-star property sits right in the heart of what locals consider the best part of the city — and honestly, after spending time here, I can see why couples rate the location so highly. The building itself has that perfect blend of Georgian character and modern boutique style that makes you feel like you’ve discovered a hidden gem rather than just another hotel.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what really struck me about staying here? You’re literally steps away from everything that makes Tbilisi magical, but somehow the street itself feels peaceful and residential. I mean, you can walk to the sulfur baths in Abanotubani in about five minutes, and the cable car to Narikala Fortress is practically around the corner. The narrow cobblestone streets in this area are perfect for those evening strolls that couples seem to love so much — no wonder they give the location a 9.7 rating. Plus, you’re close enough to hear the city’s energy but far enough from the main tourist crowds to actually get some sleep.
The Rooms
The rooms at Boutique Hotel Point strike that sweet spot between intimate and comfortable. Each one feels thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter corporate, with local touches that remind you you’re in Georgia without being heavy-handed about it. The bathrooms are modern and well-appointed, which honestly matters more than you’d think after a long day exploring Tbilisi’s hills. What I particularly appreciated was how quiet the rooms stay despite being in such a central location — the windows do their job well.
Breakfast & Amenities
The continental breakfast here is actually quite solid, though don’t expect anything too elaborate. It’s the kind of spread that gets you properly fueled for a day of sightseeing without weighing you down. Fresh bread, local cheeses, and decent coffee — sometimes that’s all you really need. The staff seems genuinely interested in helping you navigate the city, and they’re full of those insider tips that can make or break a trip to Tbilisi. I found myself asking them about everything from restaurant recommendations to the best times to visit certain attractions.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back to this place isn’t any single standout feature — it’s how everything works together. The location puts you in the thick of old Tbilisi’s charm, the rooms provide a refined retreat when you need it, and the overall vibe feels authentically local rather than internationally generic. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about staying in this part of the city, with its winding streets and historic atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Tbilisi, not just passing through it.
