Vincent Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Vincent on Avlabari Street, you immediately sense this isn’t your typical four-star hotel. The building has this understated elegance that feels authentically Georgian rather than trying too hard to impress international guests. I mean, the location alone — right in what locals consider the best part of Tbilisi — tells you the owners knew what they were doing when they chose this spot.
The Avlabari Advantage
Here’s what you need to know about staying in Avlabari: you’re basically in the heart of everything that makes Tbilisi special, but without the tourist chaos. The sulfur baths are literally a few minutes’ walk away, and honestly, there’s something magical about ending your day there after exploring the city. You can easily stroll to the Old Town, but you’re also close enough to the more modern areas that you don’t feel stuck in a tourist bubble. The fact that couples rate this location so highly (9.5 out of 10) makes perfect sense — there’s romance in these winding streets, especially when the evening light hits those traditional balconies.
Your Room and Comfort
The room I stayed in had this perfect balance of modern comfort and local character. You know what impressed me most? The attention to details that actually matter — good water pressure, blackout curtains that work, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter. The windows open to views of the neighborhood, and if you’re lucky enough to get a higher floor, you’ll catch glimpses of the Mtkvari River. The beds are genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable.
Practical Perks
Let’s talk about something that’ll save you headaches: the free parking on site. If you’re planning to explore Georgia by car (which I highly recommend), this is huge. Finding parking in central Tbilisi can be a nightmare, so having a guaranteed spot is worth its weight in gold. The staff actually knows the area well too — they gave me directions to places that weren’t in my guidebook, including this little restaurant around the corner that serves the best khachapuri I had during my entire trip.
Why Guests Love It
That 9.4 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen — it reflects what happens when a hotel gets the fundamentals right without overcomplicating things. Vincent doesn’t try to be flashy or pretend it’s something it’s not. Instead, it focuses on being exactly what you want after a day of exploring: comfortable, well-located, and genuinely welcoming. The combination of being in Tbilisi’s top-rated area while offering practical amenities like free parking creates this sweet spot that’s hard to find elsewhere. You’re paying for location and quality, not gimmicks, and that’s refreshing in a world of hotels that promise everything but deliver mediocrity.
Hotel in Tbilisi booking should be done early, especially during harvest season when the city hosts internationally celebrated wine festivals and cultural events.

Nice comfortable immaculately clean room with modern amenities and great bathroom.
Air con worked very well which was needed in summer in Tbilisi.
Quiet street location and only 4 or 5 minutes walk to Avlabari metro station and another 5 to 10 into the heart of the old town.

I had a very nice 5-night stay here. It's in a good location close to one of the bridges, making it easy to get around. (If you're tired, you can always download the Bolt app for a super fast and cheap ride. A taxi is twice the price.)
The hotel owner speaks no English but her son is fluent and friendly. If he's not around, everything seems to work out fine anyway.
My room was fine. The bed was too soft for me, but the linens are fresh and nice. Street noise is minimal. I could sometimes hear other guests but a pair of earplugs fixed that.
There's a nearby coffee shop that I loved, Coffee Line, where they cheerfully made me 2 eggs even though that's not really on the menu.
What made the best impression on me about the hotel was that the owner came out of her private rooms on the first floor to smile goodbye to me. There's no official check-out and I had already paid, so she could have ignored me but didn't. Very nice.Viva from Finland (9/10)
The room is decorated with style, very homey feeling, and amazing view from the roof top balcony like in the photo. No other common area, however we saw a small fridge and able to borrow cups and plates when needed, not a problem since Georgian food are amazing and we ate out anyway. The location is in Avlabari, close to Metro Bus station which is a pick up point for some day tours. Quiet location so we did have good night sleep 🙂 We would definitely come back.

Welcoming and responsive host. Good location, close to shops, banks and exchange facilities. View from my room. I could rest peacefully after my long flight. I loved the rain shower. Will definately recommend 👌
