View Apartment Overview
I spent a weekend in Tbilisi and found this gem tucked into a quiet corner of Chugureti on Giorgi Mazniashvili Street. The building looks like a humble two‑story apartment block to the untrained eye, but once you step inside, the room opens up with a panoramic view that actually makes you feel like you’re on a balcony overlooking the city. The first thing you notice is the floor‑to‑ceiling windows that let in a light that’s never too harsh, even on the hottest July afternoons, and the view of the distant Aghmashenebeli Boulevard humming with traffic. I mean, you could’ve sworn you were on a rooftop party, but you’re still three floors up from the street.
Check‑in was a breeze – the front desk was staffed by a young woman who asked if I needed a keycard or a guide to the best coffee spots around. She handed me a small, handwritten map with a doodle of a coffee cup and said, “Just follow the smell.” That’s the kind of personal touch that makes a stay feel less like a transaction and more like a recommendation from a friend. The Wi‑Fi is surprisingly fast (no buffering when I tried streaming a Georgian documentary), and the coffee machine is top‑notch – it actually brews a latte that rivals the local cafés in Tbilisi. Parking is a bit of a treasure hunt; there’s a tiny, almost invisible spot behind the building that’s free, but you’ll need to ask the concierge for directions – they’re always good at pointing you to the right corner. The noise level is calm; the only sounds you hear at night are the occasional distant traffic hum and the soft clatter of dishes from the apartment complex’s shared kitchen. If you’re a sleeper, you’ll appreciate that the curtains are heavy and the bedding is a level of softness that feels like a hug.
The location is a sweet spot if you’re looking to explore the city on foot. Just a ten‑minute walk brings you to the lively Rustaveli Avenue, where you can find a mix of souvenir shops, street performers, and the famous Shota Rustaveli theater. For a quick bite, head to the corner of Giorgi Mazniashvili and Vashadze – there’s a small, family‑run eatery that serves khachapuri so good it makes your mouth water just by looking at the menu. The apartment’s kitchen is compact but fully equipped; I was able to make a simple omelet and a cup of Georgian tea that warmed me back from the chilly October evening. The floor is warm wood that feels like a gentle hug on your feet, and the linens come in a crisp white that’s actually a bit too clean for my taste – I’d recommend bringing a small towel for extra comfort. The balcony is surprisingly sturdy; I took a few photos of the city skyline as the sun dipped below the rooftops, and the colors were amazing – the orange glow on the distant hills was the kind of thing you see in postcards but actually feel.
Seasonally, the best time to stay here is late spring or early fall. The city’s traffic is moderate, the weather is pleasant, and you won’t feel the rush of tourists that hits late summer. If you’re traveling during the peak tourist season, just be ready for a bit of noise from the nearby cafés, but it’s still manageable. The building’s front door is secured, and the concierge is quick to respond if you need anything. Honestly, the highlight for me was the small balcony where I could sit with a cup of tea, listen to the city murmuring, and watch the sunset paint the sky in a palette of pink and gold. It’s a place that feels like a home away from home, and you’ll leave with a sense that you’ve seen a side of Tbilisi that most tourists miss.
So if you’re looking for a place that offers a genuine local vibe, a great view, and a friendly touch, View Apartment is the spot. You’ll walk out into the city feeling recharged, with memories of the city’s sights and sounds that linger long after you check out.

Lovely place to stay – Serik from Kazakhstan – August 21, 2025 (10/10)
Overall the apartment is really good and spacious, lovely terrace made it all.
What could be improved: Air cons in the left bedroom and common area didnt really work, so daytime it was really hot there.Exceptional – Ekaterina from Russia – January 3, 2025 (10/10)
Cozy, clean, amazing terrace and nice area to walk around! We had pleasure to stay in this appart
What could be improved: N/aQuite nice, albeit sometimes missing water – Maya from United States – December 24, 2024 (9/10)
Easy communication from the host. Beautiful apartment in a great location and a cute building. We loved how big the kitchen and the dining table were – great for a dinner party! Our friend slept on the couch in the living room and said it was quite comfy. We liked that there's a ton of extra blankets / pillows – these come in handy, especially if you'd like to take advantage of the GORGEOUS little outside terrace! The terrace was purely magical, with a lovely view of Tbilisi.
We found it easy to find street parking outside. This apartment isn't located on one of the steep hills Tbilisi is famous for (oof!), which makes it easy to get to. The location was truly perfect, with easy access to downtown, Old Town, all the famous bridges, Fabrika and nightlife.
We were able to bring our two dogs for no extra charge.
What could be improved: We ran out of water (?) after doing a couple of us took a shower. The water got replenished within a few hours, but one of our party members still wasn't able to shower when he wanted do.
You have to pay cash, which I found inconvenient.
If you're looking to open the windows, keep in mind the windows are floor to ceiling. We found that concerning as we had our small dogs staying and were afraid they'd fall out. I'd recommend to be mindful if you're traveling with small children.
There's no elevator, the apartment is on the top floor, and some of the stairs don't have risers – keep in mind if you have heavy luggage!Wonderful – Nikolay from South Korea – August 15, 2024 (9/10)
Good and clean apartments.
Owners is very kind.
What could be improved: Third floor without elevator.Great everything about this place – Lili from Armenia – July 9, 2024 (10/10)
The hosts kept contact with us, sent me the exact location all the details, very considerate very open and welcoming. Thank you Alexander. This place is a very very rare catch in Tbilisi were the price and the location and overall everything matches and is great. All the further times I visit Tbilisi View Apartment is where I stay, already planning a next trip.
What could be improved: Only the warm weather which is definitely only about the summer and has nothing to do with the property as the hosts had the ACs running.Romantic and relaxing rooftop accommodation in Tbilisi – Giovanni from Singapore – February 24, 2024 (10/10)
The kind owners welcomed me and did help me with the suitcase once I arrived. The apartment is gifted with a little roof access where you can enjoy breakfast like on a rooftop cafe in Istanbul. It is a big enough apartment for 2 couples traveling together, tastefully decorated with objects and art from the world. There is a comfortable bathroom with shower, a good kitchen with many appliances to use if you like to cook as I do, a long table to sit, enjoy, read, work, discuss. This apartment is near many interesting parts oft he city. You can either walk, or take a cab and be in many places within 10 to 15 minutes at a modicum price. There are cats on the roofs, and this is a great guarantee that there will not be mice or rats. Additionally it is romantic to hear them tumble on the roof at times. Please do not let the cats in, because they could easy spoil the beautiful and clean apartment.
Exceptional – Kulijeva from United Kingdom – February 15, 2024 (10/10)

Great and trully unique experience! – Vlad from Finland – September 21, 2024 (9/10)
Alexander was super friendly and helpful. The apartment is really unique and atmospheric, located in a lively and vibrant neighborhood, yet it was quiet and peaceful at the same time. We’d definitely love to come back someday!
Прекрасные апартаменты! – Kristina from Russia – June 24, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: Жаль, что были всего 3 ночи.
