Vermont Boutique Hotel Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked into the Vermont Boutique Hotel, I wasn’t expecting much. The name sounds pretty generic, you know? But honestly, this place surprised me in all the right ways. There’s something refreshingly unpretentious about it that I really appreciated after staying at too many hotels that try way too hard to impress you with marble everything and overly complicated room keys.
What actually struck me first was how the staff seemed to genuinely know their stuff without being pushy about it. Check-in was smooth – none of that awkward hovering while they explain seventeen different amenities you’ll never use. The lobby has this lived-in comfort that feels more like a well-curated friend’s house than a typical hotel space. I mean, there are actual books you’d want to read scattered around, not just coffee table props. The lighting is warm and real, not those harsh overhead fluorescents that make everyone look terrible. You can tell someone put thought into the little details – like the fact that the seating areas are positioned so you’re not staring directly at other guests or the front desk.
My room was on the third floor, and honestly, it hit that sweet spot between cozy and spacious. The bed was properly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom actually had decent water pressure – you’d be amazed how many boutique places skimp on the basics while focusing on fancy toiletries. Speaking of which, they stock locally-made stuff that doesn’t smell like generic hotel soap. The windows opened, which I always appreciate, and the neighborhood was quiet enough that I could actually sleep with them cracked. There’s parking available, though it fills up during busier periods – I’d recommend asking about it when you book if you’re driving. The whole place has this calm energy that made it easy to unwind after long days of exploring. With a 9.2 rating, they’re clearly doing something right, and after spending a few nights there, I can see why guests keep coming back. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – somewhere that just gets the fundamentals right and makes you feel at home.

All was perfect. Everything was great from check in to check out. Personal was so helpful. There was a old lady in the kitchen with glasses and short hair (I don't know the name), she was extremely kind, ready to help and so nice. I don't know her name, but if anyone from the hotel knows her just let her know she's the one of the main reason for us to give 10 out of 10. Thanks for everything guys, for making our stay unforgettable. We will be back definitely 🙏👍
