Vermont Boutique Hotel Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Vermont Boutique Hotel on Mikheili Tsinamdzghvrishvili Street, you immediately get the sense that someone put real thought into this place. It’s tucked into the Chugureti district — honestly, one of Tbilisi’s most authentic neighborhoods where you’ll actually hear Georgian being spoken more than English. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel,” which I really appreciated. You know what struck me most? The way they’ve managed to feel both modern and respectful of the local architecture.
The Neighborhood Experience
Chugureti is where you want to be if you’re trying to get a real feel for the city. I mean, you’re close enough to walk to the old town, but you’re not stuck in the middle of all the tour groups. There’s this great little bakery about two blocks away where locals grab their morning khachapuri, and the whole area has this lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing Tbilisi rather than just visiting it. The four-star rating feels right — it’s polished without being pretentious.
Your Room
The room I stayed in was thoughtfully designed, with these nice touches that show someone actually considered how travelers use space. The bathroom was modern (thank goodness — Georgian plumbing can be an adventure), and the bed was genuinely comfortable. What I loved was the little seating area by the window where you could sit with coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. The Wi-Fi actually worked well, which isn’t always a given in this part of the world, and there was enough storage space that I didn’t have to live out of my suitcase. The furnishings were carefully selected to balance comfort with style.
Food and Amenities
The hotel restaurant serves a solid mix of Georgian and international dishes — nothing groundbreaking, but well-executed and reasonably priced. Breakfast was fresh and included some local options alongside the usual continental spread. I appreciated that they didn’t try to over-complicate things or pretend to be something they’re not. The staff genuinely seemed to know the area well and gave me some great recommendations for places that weren’t in my guidebook. Their knowledge of local dining made the experience even more memorable.
Why Guests Love It
Here’s the thing — this place just works. The location puts you right in the sweet spot between authentic local life and tourist accessibility, and couples especially seem to love it (which makes sense, given how romantic those tree-lined streets can be in the evening). With a 9.2 rating, guests consistently mention feeling like they discovered something special rather than just booking another generic hotel. It’s the kind of place where you’ll end up chatting with the front desk about where to find the best wine bars, and they’ll actually know what they’re talking about. The overall experience reflects the care taken in every detail.

All was perfect. Everything was great from check in to check out. Personal was so helpful. There was a old lady in the kitchen with glasses and short hair (I don't know the name), she was extremely kind, ready to help and so nice. I don't know her name, but if anyone from the hotel knows her just let her know she's the one of the main reason for us to give 10 out of 10. Thanks for everything guys, for making our stay unforgettable. We will be back definitely 🙏👍
