TownHouse Tbilisi Boutique Hotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to TownHouse Tbilisi Boutique Hotel on Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue, you immediately get that “this place knows what it’s doing” feeling. It’s one of those four-star boutique spots that doesn’t try too hard — the building has character without being flashy, and honestly, that’s exactly what you want in Tbilisi. The staff greets you like they’re genuinely happy you’re there, which sets the tone for everything else. From the moment you enter, the attention to detail becomes apparent in every corner of the hotel.

The Chugureti Advantage

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re in Chugureti, which locals will tell you is where the real Tbilisi energy lives. Davit Aghmashenebeli Avenue has this perfect mix of old-school Georgian charm and newer cafes that actually know how to make proper coffee. You can walk to the old town in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also surrounded by authentic neighborhood life that most tourists miss completely. The parking situation is actually sorted here too, which anyone who’s driven in Tbilisi will appreciate. This neighborhood positioning offers an ideal balance between accessibility and local authenticity.

Your Room Experience

The room design strikes that sweet spot between boutique character and actual comfort — I mean, some boutique hotels forget you need to sleep well, you know? The beds are properly comfortable, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What really works is how they’ve managed to keep Georgian design elements without making it feel like a museum. The bathrooms are modern and well-thought-out, with good water pressure that’s honestly a relief after some other places I’ve stayed in the region. Each detail has been carefully considered for guest satisfaction.

Food and Social Spaces

The restaurant here gets the local food scene right — they’re not trying to reinvent Georgian cuisine, just doing it well with quality ingredients. Breakfast actually feels worth getting up for, which isn’t always the case. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you might end up chatting with other travelers, but it never feels forced or overly social if that’s not your thing. There’s something about the way they’ve set up the spaces that just works. The dining experience reflects a genuine commitment to quality and authenticity.

Why Guests Love It

Look, couples especially seem to get what this place is about — there’s a reason they rate the location so highly for romantic trips. It’s got that intimate boutique feel without being stuffy, and you’re positioned perfectly to explore both tourist spots and real Tbilisi life. The staff knows the neighborhood well enough to point you toward the good stuff, whether that’s the best khachapuri nearby or which wine bars locals actually frequent. You’ll leave feeling like you discovered something special rather than just staying at another hotel. This hotel represents the perfect blend of comfort, culture, and genuine hospitality.

Reviews of TownHouse Tbilisi Boutique Hotel

  • Hussain from Georgia (10/10)

The staff are the best I have ever seen. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. They were also super helpful when I needed to extend my stay.
The room was also awazing and the view in the balcony is something you must experience.
There is no question, next time I am in Tbilisi this is where I will stay.

  • Aarti from United Arab Emirates (10/10)

It was my leisure trip, a solo trip to Georgia. I had to visit other places as well so I only had one day to stay in the Townhouse Boutique Hotel in Tbilisi.
It was kind of a last-minute booking of mine through booking.com and initially, I was a bit afraid of how the property would be because sometimes it shows differently online. In reality, it's different. The moment I entered the hotel for check-in I felt a different vibe altogether it felt like home to me, with calm and relaxing vibes right from the property entrance itself.
I was traveling continuously so I didn't feel relaxed for days but the moment I entered there it was like I entered my own house full of warmth. Tina was the host to assist me and she was so welcoming and polite throughout my stay. Starting from the check-in she assisted me in providing the best available room according to my preference, after that she made sure my stay was smooth enough until I checked out. Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay and roam the old Tbilisi city. Whenever I am traveling next there for sure I'll be staying in Townhouse only. Loved their hospitality and service.
