The staff seems to actually know Tbilisi beyond just the tourist checklist, which comes in handy when you’re trying to figure out where to grab a proper meal or how to navigate the city without looking completely lost. I actually ended up having a great conversation with one of the front desk folks about some of the quieter neighborhoods worth exploring. Breakfast is solid too – not one of those sad continental spreads, but actual local options mixed in with the standard stuff. They do this khachapuri that’s honestly better than what I had at some dedicated restaurants around town. The dining area gets busy around 8:30 AM, so if you’re not a morning person, either get there early or wait until after 9:30 when things calm down a bit. The whole place has this energy that makes you want to stick around rather than just crash and leave – there’s usually some interesting mix of business travelers and people actually exploring the city, which creates a nice vibe without being chaotic. With an 8.8 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get it.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Tbilisi at least two months ahead for major events like wine festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near cultural attractions.
