I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to The One Terrace, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from the name. But you know what? Sometimes the most straightforward names hide the best surprises, and this 4-star gem really delivers on that front.

The lobby has this relaxed, almost residential feel – not stuffy or overly formal, but polished enough that you know they take care of the place. I mean, with an 8.9 rating, guests are clearly happy, and after spending a few days there, I totally get why. The staff genuinely seems to remember your name after the first interaction (which, honestly, is rarer than it should be these days), and they have this knack for anticipating what you might need without being intrusive about it. The rooms themselves strike that perfect balance between modern comfort and actual personality – you’re not sleeping in some generic beige box that could be anywhere in the world. The beds are properly comfortable (none of that rock-hard mattress nonsense some places try to pass off as “firm support”), and the bathrooms actually have decent water pressure and lighting that doesn’t make you look like you’re auditioning for a zombie movie.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how they handle the details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi works everywhere – and I mean actually works, not that frustrating situation where it shows full bars but won’t load anything. There’s proper storage space in the rooms, including hooks and shelves in logical places where you’d actually want to put things. The terrace area (which obviously plays into the name) becomes this surprisingly social space in the evenings – not rowdy or anything, just a nice spot where you might end up chatting with other travelers over a drink. I noticed they keep it well-maintained too, with comfortable seating that isn’t just there for show. The whole place has this lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere thoughtfully designed rather than just efficiently assembled. Even little things like having enough outlets near the bed and decent blackout curtains show they understand what actually makes a hotel stay comfortable versus just adequate. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself genuinely relaxed rather than just going through the motions of a business trip or vacation – and honestly, that’s worth a lot more than flashy amenities that look good in photos but don’t really enhance your stay.

  It was such a smooth check in and check out. The stay was nice and comfy, and although the hotel is on the other side of the river, but yet it is still near all the important areas of the city. Not even 15 mins walk away from anywhere you would like to go. The staff also were nice and polite, very good customer service. Let along that the breakfast is included which is such a convenient thing to have in a hotel.
