Tbilisi Mare Overview
When I stepped into Tbilisi Mare, the first thing that struck me was the warm, almost tangible, Georgian hospitality—no stiff smiles, just a friendly “Good evening, welcome!” from the receptionist who seemed to know my name from the last time I’d stopped by the same hotel. The check‑in was quick; the staff let me in with a digital key and handed over a local guide that was oddly handwritten, like a secret recipe. Honestly, that little touch made the whole stay feel less like a transaction and more like a continuation of a conversation I’d been having with the city for years. I mean, the staff knew the best time to recommend the Tbilisi nightlife; they even suggested an off‑beat café on Shota Rustaveli Street that you could only find by following a stray cat from the hotel lobby.
I stayed in a twin room that was surprisingly spacious for a 4‑star. The walls were painted in a muted terracotta that made the room feel like a quiet, sun‑kissed courtyard. The bed—well, the bed was the real highlight. It had a memory‑foam mattress that remembered your body shape, and the linens were buttery soft, the kind of texture you get when you’re about to drift off after a long day of wandering. The bathroom was a mini spa: a rain‑shower that felt like a gentle waterfall, and a deep soaking tub that you could actually sink into. I did notice a slight draft from the window, but the city’s evening breezes were a welcome relief after a hot day. The noise level was decent; the only sounds that intruded were the distant chatter of a café on the street and the occasional honk of a motorcycle, which, in Tbilisi, is just part of the city’s soundtrack.
Parking was a mixed bag—there’s a small lot across the street, but it’s not huge, so you might have to circle a few times during peak hours. The hotel does offer a valet service, which is a lifesaver if you’re on a tight schedule. The real gem is the location: it’s right near the iconic Rustaveli Avenue, but you can also walk down the quieter lanes to the Old City. There’s a little tea house on the corner of 3rd Street where the owner, a former university professor, will serve you a cup of sweet Georgian honey tea that you can’t find anywhere else. The smell of fresh bread from the bakery on the corner of the same street is a constant, comforting presence that reminds you that you’re in the real heart of Tbilisi. I found the hotel’s Wi‑Fi to be reliable, but the signal was a bit weak in the corners of the room; a small antenna outside helped a lot. Overall, the experience was honestly one of the best stays I’ve had in Tbilisi—authentic, warm, and surprisingly comfortable, with just the right amount of city buzz to keep you grounded in the moment.
Tbilisi’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Georgian tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring wine tour services and authentic Caucasian hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at Nino's hotel. Nino and her son were so helpful and kind, answering all our questions during our stay. The breakfasts were delicious, and we really appreciated the special after-wedding dinner that Nino prepared for us, our son and his bride. It was very touching and sweet! The hotel is brand new, beautifully designed, and our room was excellent, with a great bathroom and a very huge balcony. We were very happy with our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with a personal touch

Overall, everything is quite good – Stanislau from Belarus – March 31, 2025 (8/10)
Overall, everything is quite good. When I checked out, the owner simply gave me a bottle of excellent wine, which was quite nice.
What could be improved: I arrived at night, around 4am and couldn't get inside because the owner was apparently asleep. In addition, this happened again when I also returned to the room in the morning. I had to ask friends to contact him by phone. I believe that there should be a bell on the gate that you can ring at any time.Exceptional – Anonymous from Netherlands – July 16, 2025 (10/10)
The hosts were very kind!
At arrival they showed us all available rooms so that we could choose which one we wanted. After a nice conversation we received a free bottle of wine and fresh fruits of their own garden!
Next morning a delicious and grande breakfast! All freshly made by the host.
Later in the day after we went out and already checked out we came back to pick up our car and the hosts invited us back in for a nice cup of coffee and another very friendly and nice conversation.
Would definitely come back here again!

Gracias Nino! Hasta pronto!トビリシの特有の喧騒を避けたい人にオススメ。 – Ai from Japan – July 30, 2025 (10/10)
