I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Tbilisi Inn, I wasn’t expecting much from a 4-star place in the Georgian capital. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in all the right ways. The lobby has this warm, understated vibe that immediately puts you at ease, with traditional Georgian touches that don’t feel forced or touristy. The staff genuinely seemed happy to see guests, which is rarer than it should be these days.

The rooms are solid – nothing flashy, but everything works properly (and trust me, that’s not always a given in Tbilisi). The beds are actually comfortable, the Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the bathrooms have decent water pressure. I mean, the décor won’t win any design awards, but it’s clean and functional with some nice local artwork on the walls. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details – good reading lights, enough power outlets, and blackout curtains that actually block light. The air conditioning worked well too, which was clutch during those surprisingly warm Georgian evenings.

Location-wise, you’re in a sweet spot where you can walk to most of the main attractions without feeling like you’re stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. I could easily stroll to the old town’s cobblestone streets and those famous sulfur baths, but the hotel itself sits on a quieter street where you won’t be kept awake by late-night revelers. The neighborhood has that authentic Georgian character – you’ll hear conversations in rapid-fire Georgian mixed with Russian, smell fresh khachapuri from nearby bakeries in the morning, and see locals going about their daily routines. Honestly, it feels like staying in a real part of the city rather than some sterile hotel district. The 7.9 rating makes sense to me – it’s not perfect, but it delivers on what matters most. Check-in was smooth, the elevator actually works (again, not always guaranteed), and I never had any issues with housekeeping. Sure, the breakfast could use some work and the lobby gets a bit echo-y when it’s busy, but these are minor gripes. For the price point and the authentic Georgian hospitality, Tbilisi Inn does exactly what a good mid-range hotel should do – it gets out of your way so you can enjoy the incredible city outside its doors.

  The staff was very helpful.
  We just stayed for a single night and found the hotel much better than our expectations.
  We also had a day tour booked and we could leave our luggage safely at the reception for the whole day.

  hotel located near the old Tbilisi, in a perfect position and in an area where you can find everything. The hotel has gym and swimming pool, but them are not so beautiful, anyway them are useful.
