Tbilisi City Apartment Hill Home Overview
Tbilisi City Apartment Hill Home is tucked into a quiet corner of the old quarter, right on 16 Bochorma Street. The building itself is a modest brick structure, but the lobby feels warm—like a friend’s living room. Check‑in was a breeze: the front desk staff were friendly and quick, handing over a keycard with a smile that said, “You’re in good hands, no need to worry.” The air smelled faintly of fresh coffee from the nearby café, a subtle reminder that you’re not far from the bustling cafés that line the street.
The apartment itself is a cozy two‑bedroom layout, perfect for a couple or a solo traveler who likes a bit of space. The living area is bright, with large windows that frame the city’s skyline and let in the gentle summer breeze. I loved the exposed brick wall in the dining area—it gives a rustic feel that’s hard to find in newer hotels. The kitchen is surprisingly well‑equipped: a small fridge, a gas stove, and a coffee maker that actually works. The bathroom, while not huge, is spotless and stocked with decent toiletries; there’s a small basin that runs cold, but the hot water is generous. One thing I noticed was that the hallway outside the apartment is a bit narrow, so if you’re carrying a lot of luggage, you’ll have to be careful. The noise level is pretty low during the day—locals are usually out and about—but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to consider earplugs, especially on nights when the street below gets lively.
Parking is a bit of a challenge, to be honest. There’s no dedicated parking lot, but you can find street parking a block or two away. Just be ready to walk a few minutes, and keep in mind that the streets can be narrow and winding. The building does have a small underground garage, but it’s a paid space, and the attendants can be a bit formal. I found myself walking to the corner where the old stone arch is, and the sound of the city’s traffic mingled with the distant hum of the metro. I spent an afternoon strolling through Tbilisi‘s Old Town, and the apartment’s proximity meant I could come back for a quick bite or a shower in the middle of my explorations. The city’s mix of old cobblestones and modern cafes creates a sensory tapestry—scented with roasted chestnuts, the sharp tang of fresh tea, and the occasional burst of laughter from a street performer.
If you’re looking to explore beyond the immediate block, the nearby Gorgasali Street is a must‑visit. It’s a stone‑paved lane that feels like a step back in time, with its tiny bookshops and the famous wine cellars that have been around since the 19th century. From the apartment, you can walk to the old bridge in about 10 minutes, where the river reflects the sunset perfectly. For food, the local “khinkali” stalls on the corner of M. Javakhishvili Street are a treat; the dumplings are stuffed with a blend of herbs that you won’t find in tourist spots. And if you’re there in the evenings, the street performers on the bridge will keep you entertained—just make sure to bargain for a souvenir, because the “souvenir” market can be a bit overpriced if you’re not careful.

What could be improved: For our family w infant – had to mop the floors. No cloth drying rack. Had to ask for toiletries, no microwave, no oven.Pleasant – Valentina from Russia – April 2, 2025 (6/10)
The apartment host was not very welcoming. There was a mix-up with the booking: an hour before check-in, she said there was no availability, but later it turned out there was. It was an unpleasant situation. The apartment had a strong smell of cigarettes, which only faded by the second day. Otherwise, the place was clean, and the bed linen and towels were fresh.

Good – Сергей67 from Russia – June 24, 2025 (7/10)
What could be improved: На полу были осколки битого стекла и мы ими порезались, а также были грязная посуда и столовые приборы (из-за этого, собственно, и снижена оценка). Душевая кабина без стекла, раковина требует ремонта.لاتحجزون عنده لانه سرروق – Ali from Saudi Arabia – April 4, 2025 (1/10)
