TbilApartments Overview
I first stumbled upon the TbilApartments on a rainy Thursday, wandering the cobblestone lanes of Tbilisi after a late dinner in the old town. The building sits right on 4 Tabakhmela Street, a spot that locals call the “gateway to the city’s hidden gems.” I remember the moment I walked through the front door—there was that unmistakable scent of fresh coffee from the café on the ground floor, and a faint buzz of chatter from the nearby tea house. The lobby’s walls are lined with black-and-white photos of Tbilisi’s historic bridges, each one a story waiting to be told.
Honestly, the check‑in was a breeze. The staff greeted me with that warm Georgian smile and handed over a key card that looked like a tiny piece of modern art. They gave me a quick rundown of the apartment’s layout: the living area flows into a kitchenette that actually holds a full set of pots, a small fridge, and a surprisingly sturdy espresso machine. I mean, who knew an apartment could feel so homely? The bed is a plush queen with linens that feel like a cloud—soft, breathable, and oddly reminiscent of the silk we find woven in the markets of Vera. My roommate, a local from the Gldani district, told me that the view from the balcony is best at sunrise when the city light flickers on the peaks of the Caucasus. I tried it the next morning and, wow, the city just wakes up with a gentle hum of traffic and the distant clatter of the metro.
Parking is actually an issue if you’re driving. The street right in front of the building is a narrow, bustling thoroughfare, so I parked my car in the small, paid lot a few blocks down on Saba Iosebeli Street. It’s a bit of a walk, but you get a nice stroll through the old quarter, passing by the iconic Sulphur Baths and the quirky art stalls at the Rustaveli Market. At night, the apartment’s noise level is surprisingly low; I could hear the soft rustle of leaves from the nearby park and the occasional distant laughter from a street musician. The walls are thick—no echoing of the city’s nightlife, just the comforting hush of a well-insulated space.
I also want to mention the practical side of things—especially if you’re traveling with family or a group. The building has a small laundry room on the second floor, and the staff can help you with a folding board and a set of detergent if you need. The Wi‑Fi is fast and reliable, which is essential when you’re hunting for those last-minute restaurant recommendations or just streaming a Georgian film in the evening. The apartment’s kitchen is stocked with a few essential spices—sumac, saffron, and that little jar of honey that the host left for guests. I used it to whip up a quick breakfast that felt like breakfast at a local café.
In short, TbilApartments is more than just a place to sleep; it’s a doorway into Tbilisi’s everyday life. From the moment I stepped out onto the balcony at dawn to the quiet lull of the city at midnight, every detail—whether it’s the aroma of fresh coffee, the texture of the linens, or the sound of distant traffic—felt authentic. If you’re looking for a home‑like stay that still keeps you connected to the vibrant pulse of Tbilisi, this is the spot that will make you say, “I actually loved this place.” The only thing I’d note is that it can get a bit noisy during the summer festivals, but honestly, that’s part of the charm.
Hotels in Tbilisi offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this Caucasian gem, with easy access to museums, thermal baths, and traditional restaurants.

Reviews of TbilApartments
What a great apartment – Ela from United Kingdom – August 18, 2025 (10/10)
We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and beautifully decorated apartment in the Old Town of Tbilisi. It was equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge and washing machine, which made our stay very comfortable. The balcony offered a fabulous view, perfect for enjoying the city atmosphere. The photos matched our expectations exactly, which was a great relief. Communication with the host was excellent—he was very attentive and even offered us his own garage during our stay. The bottle of wine on arrival was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Highly recommended!
What could be improved: Absolutely nothingNice and clean apartment to stay, great location, hospitable host. – Xiaoyan from China – March 3, 2025 (10/10)
A great place to stay for a short period of time for vacation in Tbilisi, especially if you would like to relax there as at home, coffee in the morning, brunch when you are ready… very clean, comfy and homy… and it’s close to anywhere you should visit there… we thank the host for a bottle of wine, and I’m glad to meet him myself on the last day of our stay, he seems a very nice young man.
What could be improved: Everything is great, I’m sure that we would love to stay there if we visit Tbilisi again with only one challenge of climbing up a bit to reach there.Exceptional – Royce from Qatar – March 24, 2024 (10/10)
Location is perfect. From the balcony, you can see some of the best spots Tblisi prides itself in; The Bridge of Peace, Cable Car etc. The view in the early morning is so relaxing and, at night, the city vibes is so inviting.
The place is located uphill, but quite accessible to taxis. We would walk going down. One path leads to Hotel Mercure where u can find Asado Steakhouse, and the other path leads you straight to the Sulfur Baths. From the Sulfur Baths you can access the Botanical Garden.
Edo and his parents were so accommodating (thanks for the pork bbq), and you can sense the sincerity. The place provided us with more than what we needed. The bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms were perfect, not to mention that you have so much space in the living area. One word to describe the apartment: CLEAN.
After a day's grind touring, what you get is a place of comfort (bed was really comfy). There is such a sense of peace.
You tour the City, go to Kazbegi and Gudauri and come home to a place so quiet and relaxing. Cook breakfast, have coffee on the balcony, take a shower, and chill on the sofa. That's what you call Home. We really felt at home.
I'd recommend this to anyone visiting Tblisi. Thanks Edo.

Exceptional – Андреева from Kazakhstan – March 20, 2024 (10/10)
What could be improved: Немного не хватало темных штор в спальне.Хорошая свежая квартира – Dmitry from Georgia – January 3, 2024 (10/10)
Владельцы — очень приятные и дружелюбные люди. В квартире свежий ремонт, есть все необходимое для жизни и даже чуть больше. С балкона открывается чудесный вид на весь Тбилиси, получаются отличные фото.
