The staff here really makes the difference though. There’s this refreshing absence of that overly scripted hotel politeness – they’re genuinely helpful without being pushy. When I had an issue with the Wi-Fi once (honestly, these things happen), they had someone up within fifteen minutes, not the usual “we’ll look into it” runaround. And the housekeeping team strikes just the right balance – thorough but not intrusive. You can tell they’re used to dealing with guests who are staying for more than just a night or two, which makes everything feel more relaxed.

What I particularly appreciate is how quiet the place manages to be. The soundproofing between units is actually decent – something you don’t realize you miss until you’re trying to work from your apartment and can’t hear every conversation from next door. The building itself seems well-maintained without being obsessively pristine. There are these little touches that show attention to detail, like proper lighting in the bathrooms (seriously underrated) and blackout curtains that actually block light.

I’ll be honest – it’s not perfect. The elevator can be a bit slow during busy periods, and depending on which unit you get, some have better views than others. But these feel like minor quirks rather than real problems. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s genuinely comfortable and well-run without trying to be flashy about it. That 9-point rating from other guests? Yeah, I get it. It’s the kind of place where everything just works the way it should, which sounds simple but is surprisingly rare. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, especially for longer stays, this place really delivers on that promise.

  Nika was an excellent host and responded immediately to my enquiry as I was put in a bind by the manager/owner of VIP Apartment 683 upon trying to check in and needed to secure an alternate accommodation promptly since my mum was sprawled on the sidewalk a short distance away with our luggage. The apartment was excellent and has a large bathroom, spare bed as well as a fridge, microwave and kettle in the room and access to supermarkets, ATMs, a pharmacy and an organic store downstairs. The property is well secured as one can only access the premises with a security tag and it's an easy pick up and drop off taxi location.
