Super Bright Apartment For 2 In Avlabari – by Wehost Overview
I just came back from a stay at Super Bright Apartment For 2 In Avlabari – by Wehost, tucked away on Iliko Kurkhuli Street in Tbilisi. The moment I stepped onto the block, the scent of freshly baked khachapuri from a nearby bakery filled the air, and the soft hum of people chatting in the courtyard gave the place an instant vibe of home. The check‑in was a breeze – a small lockbox under the front door, a QR code in the welcome packet, and a polite note from the host saying, “Enjoy your stay, and hit me up if you need anything.” They’re not fancy, but the process feels personal, like a friend who’s already set the mood for a chill weekend.
The apartment itself is bright as the name promises. I’m talking about the walls lit with natural light that spill in from the tiny balcony, where you can hear the distant clatter of bicycles and the occasional shout of a vendor on Gorgasali Street – just a minute’s walk away. The living area is surprisingly cozy, with a plush sofa that’s perfect for binge‑watching Georgian dramas, and the kitchen is stocked with all the basics plus some local staples: a jar of Tbilisi honey, a pot of Samgaltari, and a few mugs of the city’s famous black coffee. The sheets are crisp, the windows are double‑glazed so the night traffic doesn’t bleed into your dreams, and there’s a faint, pleasant scent of lavender from the bathroom – a nice little touch that feels like a spa but in a real apartment.
Now, let’s talk practical stuff. Parking is a bit of a hunt; there’s a small paid spot behind the building, but it’s a quick 30‑second walk from the entrance. If you’re on a tight schedule, you might want to grab a scooter from the nearby rental spot on Rike Avenue – it’s only a few minutes away and gives you the freedom to navigate the city’s winding streets without the hassle of a car. Noise-wise, the apartment is smack in the middle of Avlabari, so you’ll hear the city’s pulse – the clatter of trams, the chatter of street musicians, and sometimes a stray dog barking. It’s not a problem, but if you’re a light sleeper, early mornings can be lively; the first tram at 6:30 am is a jarring reminder that the city never sleeps. On the flip side, the late‑night quiet is surprisingly deep – by 10:00 pm the only thing you hear is the gentle whir of the fridge and the distant hum of a neighbor’s radiator.
The real charm, honestly, is in the little details. The host sends you a map with their top picks for hidden cafés – I found a tiny spot called “Kino” on St. George Street that serves the best cold-pressed juice in town. The building’s common area is a stone‑work mosaic that looks like it belongs in a museum, but it’s actually a community space where locals gather for a quick coffee or a game of chess. I spent an afternoon on the balcony, sipping Georgian tea while watching the sunset over the old city walls; the colors were like a painting come to life. If you’re traveling during the summer, expect crowds around the nearby square, but the apartment’s balcony offers a private oasis where you can breathe in the city’s scent without the noise. In short, it’s a place that feels lived-in, thoughtfully curated, and just a heartbeat away from all the real Tbilisi buzz.
Hotels near me in Tbilisi offer convenient access to the ancient center, where guests can easily walk to sulfur baths, Peace Bridge, and traditional wine cellars.

Great value. Not a great location – Tony from United States – September 10, 2024 (8/10)
The room is large
What could be improved: There is nothing near this location. No cafes or resturants. The outside door doesn't work well.Wonderful – Andrei from Georgia – August 18, 2024 (9/10)
Very nice apartment, not far from attractions and metro station. Quiet, clean and cozy. Balcony with table and chairs helps to enjoy morning coffee while watching cats family playing in the patio below.
What could be improved: Building numbering system in that part of Tbilisi is quite confusing so it took some time to find correct building even with provided photos.
Also creacky matresses was the minor annoyance.Exceptional – Dimitri from Georgia – August 9, 2024 (10/10)
Отличное местоположение,шаговая доступность до двух станций метро.Очень спокойный район.
Poor – Anonymous from Georgia – August 10, 2025 (3/10)
