The apartments themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully designed rather than flashy. Everything just works, which sounds boring but is actually kind of revolutionary when you’ve stayed in places where the shower handle comes off in your hand or the WiFi cuts out every time someone uses the microwave. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too – not just for show with those tiny European fridges that can barely hold a bottle of wine. I actually cooked a few meals there, and the cookware wasn’t the usual beat-up stuff you expect in rental accommodations. The bedrooms have this calm, uncluttered vibe that actually helps you sleep instead of making you feel like you’re in a furniture showroom.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to details you don’t notice until you need them. The lighting is warm and adjustable (no harsh overhead fluorescents), there are enough outlets near the bed for your devices, and – this might sound weird – but the water pressure is fantastic. I’ve stayed in five-star places where you feel like you’re being misted rather than showered, so trust me, this matters. The staff seems to genuinely care about the experience too, which you can tell because small things get handled before you even realize they’re issues. Honestly, it’s the kind of place where you start planning your next visit before you’ve even checked out, and that 9.7 rating starts making perfect sense once you’ve been there a few days.

  A few steps away from freedom square, very central. The owner was very kind and ready to answer any question via w’up. We were there with a 6 months old baby. Crib was ready for the baby. The flat was very hot. The owner allowed us to make a late check out, thanks for it

  Just 2 minutes walk to Freedom square and close to Spar (mini market) and shop/restaurants around in old town. The house is well equipped for family use especially kitchen ware.
