STROFI Boutique Hotel Overview

First Impressions

Walking into STROFI Boutique Hotel on Beglar Akhospireli Street, you immediately get that “this place gets it” feeling. The design strikes this perfect balance between contemporary Georgian style and modern comfort — it’s not trying too hard, but you can tell someone put real thought into every detail. Honestly, the four-star rating feels almost modest when you see how polished everything is. The lobby showcases elegant furnishings and local artwork that immediately sets the tone for your stay.

Location & Neighborhood

The location is honestly incredible — I mean, you’re right in the heart of Tbilisi but on a quieter street that doesn’t get the tourist chaos. You can walk to Old Town in about five minutes, and all the main attractions are basically at your doorstep. What I really appreciated is how easy it was to find good local spots for dinner without having to venture far. The couples who stay here clearly know what they’re doing — there’s something romantic about being so close to everything while still feeling tucked away. The neighborhood offers authentic Georgian culture while maintaining easy access to modern amenities.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what you want from a boutique property — thoughtfully designed without being fussy about it. The space felt generous for a city center hotel, and the windows actually opened (you know how rare that’s becoming). The bathroom was particularly well done, with this great rainfall shower that made morning routines feel less rushed. Small touches like the local artwork and quality linens made it clear this isn’t just another cookie-cutter hotel. The furnishings are comfortable and the overall ambiance encourages relaxation throughout your entire stay.

Breakfast & Dining

The buffet breakfast surprised me — in the best way possible. Instead of the usual hotel spread, they actually incorporate Georgian specialties alongside international options. I found myself trying things I wouldn’t normally order, and the coffee was legitimately good (not just “hotel good”). The dining area has these large windows that flood the space with morning light, making it a genuinely pleasant way to start the day rather than something you rush through. The restaurant staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu offerings, ensuring every meal feels special.

Why Guests Love It

What really sets STROFI apart is how it manages to feel both polished and personal. The staff seems to actually care about your experience rather than just going through the motions, and the whole property has this relaxed confidence that makes you want to linger. You’re paying for the location and quality, sure, but you’re also getting that boutique hotel experience where everything just works smoothly. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to extend your stay in Tbilisi — which, honestly, isn’t the worst problem to have. Guests consistently praise the attention to detail throughout the property and the exceptional service standards.

Hotels in Tbilisi offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this Caucasian gem, with easy access to museums, thermal baths, and traditional restaurants.

Everything. Nice, clean, love the breakfast and roof top and terrace.

  • Stefanie from Netherlands (9/10)

Strofi is a luxurious experience. We had a large room with a very modern bathroom and the largest and most comfortable bed I have had in a hotel. We both had our own duvet, which is very pleasant when your partner is always hot and you are always cold. The hotel is situated in the middle of the Old Town which makes getting a taxi and getting there by car a slightly longer wait, as cars have to wind through small one-way-streets. The advantage is that you have the nicest part of Tiblissi right at your doorstep, and are able to stroll around sampling the food and admiring the houses. The best part of Strofi is their roof terrace which gives you a wonderful view of Tiblissi and is very atmospheric in the evening.

  • Lesley from Australia (10/10)

Perfect location just far enough away from the touristy bits but close enough to the interesting bits of old Tblisi. The staff are lovely and the included breakfast is excellent… it really sets you up for the day.

  • Muhammad from United Kingdom (10/10)

The staff was very helpful and polite. Hotel was close to the major attractions and room was super clean. Hotel itself is located at a very lively place. Had a wonderful stay there.
