I stayed in Tbilisi last July and found myself booked into the Spacious 2 bedroom apartment on Khetevan Tsamebuli Avenue 64/66 – a spot that feels oddly tucked in yet not far from the pulse of the city. The building itself is a modest brick structure, and walking up the narrow stairwell you hear the distant clatter of a bicycle race in the square below. The front desk is staffed 24/7, and the check‑in was a smooth, almost breezy affair – the receptionist handed you a key card and a quick map of the block in a friendly tone that made you feel like a neighbor rather than a tourist. Honestly, the staff were very approachable; you know what, they even told me about the best time to hit the local bakery on Mtkvari to avoid the crowds.

The apartment itself is a surprisingly roomy canvas. Two full bedrooms, each with a queen‑size bed that actually gives you enough space to stretch out after a long day of exploring, and a living area that opens onto a small balcony that overlooks the street. I mean, it’s not a rooftop, but from there you can hear the chatter of the market stalls at night, a soft hum that feels like the city breathing. The kitchen is compact but well‑equipped – a single stove, a fridge, and a small coffee maker that smells like fresh grounds every morning. There’s a slight draft in the living room, but that’s just the city’s wind playing along. The bathroom is a bit tiny; the shower has a decent splash of water but the tiles are a little worn from years of use. Wi‑Fi is decent, though I had to move closer to the living room wall during a streaming session – it’s a minor hiccup, but nothing that ruins the stay. Parking is the only slight inconvenience: the street has a permit system, so you’ll need to buy a short‑term sticker at the kiosk near the metro station, but there’s also a paid garage a block away that’s more than willing to keep your car safe.

What really made the place special was the vibe of the neighborhood. From the balcony you can see the corner of Rustaveli where the metro station buzzes, and a short walk brings you to the old town’s cobbled lanes – a perfect spot for a sunset stroll. The apartment is also just a few minutes’ walk from the Gurgelani area, where locals grab coffee and pastries at the bakery I mentioned. The streets are relatively quiet after midnight, but during the summer, the traffic can get a bit loud, so I’d recommend sleeping with the curtains drawn if you’re a light sleeper. The best part? The apartment’s layout feels like a home rather than a hotel – there’s a small dining table where you can enjoy a late‑night snack, and the curtains offer a decent barrier from the city noise. All in all, it’s a solid 4‑star spot that delivers on comfort and local flavor without the usual marketing fluff.

  The host is very kind, responsitive and helpful.
  THe apartments is great.
  Located near Metro station.
  Groceries and pharmacies are very close and 2 minutes away.
  The heating system is great as well as water heater.
  Kitchen is huge and suitable for inviting friends and easting with a big family.
  You can easily live as 3 separate adults, or as a pair on 2 person bed + and 2 childern/adult on 2 separate beds in the second room.
  In total I loved this apartment and will definitely come back with my friends and family.

  Нам понравилось всё, очень доброжелательные хозяева. Встретили,проводили,всё рассказали. Квартира чистая и ухоженная с очень красивым видом на город.в.В квартире всё предусмотренно.Все удобства. Внизу супермаркет.Аптека.Такси. До метро 100 метров.Одна остановка до центра. Давиду и его жене большое спасибо !

  Хорошая просторная квартира, очень удобное месторасположение. Хозяева очень гостеприимные, доброжелательные и ответственные, ждали нас до часу ночи, т.к. была большая очередь на границе и сильно задержались. Приятные воспоминания и прекрасные впечатления!

  Der Vermieter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, er hat viel über die Stadt, Transportmöglichkeiten und Freizeit erzählt. In der Wohnung gab's alles in der Küche um selbst zu kochen, genug Bettwäsche und Waschmaschine. Sehr schöner Ausblick vom Balkon, aber im Juni war schon sehr heiß, wobei Klimaanlagen gab es auch. Meine Mutter war leider im Krankenhaus, aber die Lage ist einfach perfekt – um die Ecke und nur 7 Minuten zu Fuß.
