Salve rooms2 tabidze Overview
I walked into the Salve rooms2 tabidze on 21 Galaktion Tabidze Street and, honestly, the first thing that hit me was the smell of fresh coffee from the little café on the corner – you know, that one with the mismatched chairs that locals swear by for morning lattes. The building itself is a classic early 20th‑century Georgian apartment block, but the lobby has this understated, almost secret‑garden vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled into a hidden oasis. It’s a 4‑star rating, but the 9.4 score is entirely earned by the staff’s genuine warmth and the little touches that are almost invisible until you notice them.
Parking in this part of Tbilisi is a mixed bag – there’s a small underground lot right next to the hotel, but you’ll have to walk a few blocks to the street parking on Shota Rustaveli Avenue, where I found a spot for a decent rate. The hotel’s own lot is a bit cramped, but the concierge is always willing to help you find a nearby spot and even offers a free shuttle to the metro if you’re short on time. Speaking of the metro, the closest station is just a ten‑minute stroll, so you’re never more than a few minutes from the city center. And the noise? Well, it’s the kind of gentle hum that comes from the city’s traffic and the occasional distant argument over a coffee shop – nothing that keeps you up at 3 a.m.
Check‑in was surprisingly smooth. The front desk staff greeted me with a broad smile and a friendly “Good evening, welcome to the hotel,” which felt more like a personal invitation than a routine welcome. They offered a digital key that you can unlock with your phone, so there’s no need to wait in line for a card. The room itself is modest but clean, with a surprisingly large window that lets in the city’s late‑afternoon light. I found the bed to be a bit firmer than I’m used to, but the pillows were plush enough to make up for it. One of the quirks of the place is that the Wi‑Fi password is printed on a small note taped to the fridge – a little nod to the old‑school charm of the property.
I spent the evening wandering down Vake Avenue, just to see what’s around. The area is known for its cocktail bars and a few art galleries that locals frequent. I also took a detour to the old bazaar, where the scent of spices and roasted chestnuts filled the air – a sensory overload that I think is worth the extra few minutes. If you’re an early bird, I’d suggest heading to the park by Mtatsminda before the crowds arrive; the view of the city at sunrise is a perfect backdrop for your Instagram posts if that’s what you’re into. And for those who like a bit of nightlife, there’s a small speakeasy behind a bakery on Rustaveli Avenue that offers great cocktails – no reservation needed, just a friendly nod and you’re in.
All in all, Salve rooms2 tabidze feels like a home base that’s not too flashy but offers all the essentials you’d need to explore Tbilisi. The staff remember your name, the check‑in is quick, the parking is manageable, and you’re just a stone’s throw from the city’s hidden gems. I’d say it’s a solid choice if you’re after a quiet night after a day of exploring, or if you just need a comfortable spot to recharge before heading out again. And the best part? The hotel’s vibe is so relaxed that you’ll forget to worry about your schedule – just soak in the quiet buzz of the city and let the experience unfold naturally.

Charming apartment near Freedom square – Leene from India – June 18, 2025 (10/10)
Lovely apartment very close to Liberty square..well maintained and spacious.
Good value for money
What could be improved: Please change the main door lock …it's not easy to open 🙂Our stay was very nice, location is superb, apartment itself has everything you need for a pleasant stay. – Alina from Germany – May 29, 2025 (9/10)
Great Appartment for a big group! Amazing wine cellar for dinners all together! Really unique experience! Everything necessary for a short and long stays is provided, all rooms and facilities were clean. Check-in and generally communication with the owner was very easy, pleasant and friendly.
What could be improved: Just a “good to know” comment, which did not disturb us: there is no classic “living room” with couch/sofa or smth similar.
As common areas there are (1) space between all rooms (link to the kitchen) with a small table and two soft bag-chairs and (2) an amazing wine cellar. If you go in Tbilisi, stay there! – Giuseppe from Italy – April 19, 2025 (10/10)
Amazing Apartment, like in picture. Host is amazing, really appreciate her help for everythong we asked. 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms, perfect for a group of friends or family.
Exceptional – Nikita from Germany – April 11, 2025 (10/10)
Amazing stay in Tbilisi, perfect location and excellent facilities. Having an interest in wine, the included wine cellar made for the perfect spot at the end of the night to unwind. Well equipped for cooking and hanging, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Hosts were also very kind and accessible. Thank you!

Exceptional overall!!Very Good – Gurbachan from India – May 30, 2025 (8/10)
1. Location.
2. The response of the host to a water crisis.
What could be improved: 1. Suggest leave written instructions for guests
2. The windows are not sound proof..noise from nearby restaurants thru the night
3. Could provide a soap in each bathroom, does not cost a lari.
4. The sitting place is cramped.
5. The toilet and bathroom in the room is very tight. Tough to bathe.
6. It's an old house.位置便利,有酒窖,很特别,体验感很好。 – Jieqiong from China – August 26, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: 热水有时候没有,小厕所里的马桶冲不太下去,公共洗手台的镜子很高,基本照不到。Exceptional – Salem from Saudi Arabia – August 18, 2025 (10/10)
