Rustaveli Apartment City Centre Overview
I walked into the Rustaveli Apartment City Centre on a breezy spring morning, the kind of day that makes you feel like the whole city is breathing with you. The building itself is a modest four‑story block on Lesya Ukrainka Street—yes, that street you see on the map but never really notice until you’re standing on it. The lobby is surprisingly spacious; there’s a little café corner with a barista who knows how to pull a perfect espresso. The check‑in was smooth, the staff were friendly, and I could feel the buzz of the city just outside the front door—cars honking, a street vendor selling khinkali, the distant hum of a metro train. They handed me a keycard that looked like a tiny piece of modern art, and I was off to my apartment.
The apartment itself feels like a home away from home, which is what keeps me coming back. It’s on the 8th floor, so you get a decent view of the city skyline—though the view is a bit blocked by neighboring buildings, so it’s more of a skyline snapshot than a full panorama. The layout is practical: a living area that opens onto a small balcony where you can smell the rain on the pavement during spring. The bed is incredibly comfortable—plush but not too soft, the kind of mattress that remembers your shape. I loved how the apartment had a little kitchenette with a full-sized fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. I spent an evening making a quick pasta dish, and the aroma of garlic and tomatoes filled the space, making me feel right at home. The bathroom is clean, with a shower that has a good pressure and a glass door that’s easy to open. The only thing I’d tweak is maybe adding a small shelf for toiletries; otherwise, it’s just fine.
What really makes this place shine is its location—though I won’t say “convenient” because that’s overused. I’ve found that the street right outside the front door is a great spot to catch a coffee before heading out. If you’re into local markets, the nearby Mtatsminda area is a stone’s throw away, full of small shops and a market where you can get fresh produce that’s still hot from the field. I’ve also walked down to the old theater on Rustaveli Avenue (not to be confused with the street name of the hotel) and found it charmingly preserved. The noise level here is pretty decent—there’s a bit of city buzz, but the building is well insulated, so I could hear a faint click of a train in the distance but not much else. Parking can be a hassle in Tbilisi, but the hotel offers a small underground spot for a fee, which is a lifesaver if you’re driving.
Honestly, the only critique I have is that the Wi‑Fi can be a bit flaky during peak hours—like, when everyone’s streaming their favorite shows. But it’s not a deal breaker. The staff are also quick to help with any issues. I remember one night, I had to ask about a missing charger, and they had one in stock and sent it over within an hour. The overall vibe is relaxed, with a sense of community that you don’t get in a chain hotel. You can hear the neighbor’s laughter drifting through the hallway, and the building feels like a small neighborhood itself. If you’re planning a trip during the busy summer season, I’d suggest booking early because the city gets busy, but the apartment remains a calm oasis amidst the hustle. If you’re traveling in late spring or early fall, the weather is mild, and you’ll find the city buzzing but not overwhelming, which is perfect for exploring on foot. All in all, Rustaveli Apartment City Centre feels like a trustworthy friend’s place—warm, welcoming, and just a few steps away from the city’s beating heart. Tbilisi is vibrant, and staying here lets you experience it all without the tourist traps.
Tbilisi’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Georgian tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring wine tour services and authentic Caucasian hospitality.

Quite a spacious, clean apartment in a great location with gorgeous window views on both sides: almost on Rustaveli Avenue, where many attractions, museums, theaters are located. Shops, cafes and metro station Liberty Square are within walking distance. Everything one needs for a comfortable life was in the apartment.

Everything
What could be improved: Apartment needs to have number on the door.Spacious place in the heart of Tbilisi – Enkhjargal from Mongolia – January 3, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment itself is spacious and bright, has pretty details on curtain hangers and chandeliers. The pictures on the site does not do justice to the apartment itself. The location is absolutely perfect. We watched the entire city light up with new year fireworks from the balconies and it was magical – there are 2 facing north and south. The government building is 2nd next to the south and we witnessed the protest happening daily right outside the door.
About 10-15 min walk to a major mall, carrefour, christmas market, cable car, double decker tour bus and more. The apt is located between 2 subway stations as well.
More than enough pots and pans, towels and supplies. And a lot of storage space.
What could be improved: Nothing. Its value for the price. – A from United States – June 13, 2023 (10/10)

– Mikael from Russia – September 1, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: По мелочам: не нашёл ножниц, также в ванной не хватало полочек для всяких принадлежностей.Exceptional – Akan from Kazakhstan – July 5, 2025 (10/10)

Anastasia from Russia – May 12, 2025 (10/10)
What could be improved: Всё понравилось.
