Royal Inn Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the Royal Inn, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. You know how some places just look a bit understated from the street? But man, once you step inside, it’s a completely different story. The lobby has this warm, welcoming vibe that immediately tells you they’ve put thought into the guest experience, and the staff actually seemed genuinely happy to see me arrive (which, let’s face it, isn’t always the case at four-star properties).
What really impressed me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between upscale comfort and not being pretentious about it. The rooms are thoughtfully designed – I mean, someone actually considered where you’d want to plug in your phone and how the lighting works when you’re trying to read in bed. The bedding is legitimately comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable, and the bathrooms have that satisfying weight to the fixtures that tells you they didn’t cut corners. I stayed on the third floor and it was remarkably quiet, even though there seemed to be a decent amount of foot traffic in the corridors. The housekeeping staff clearly takes pride in their work – everything felt properly clean, not just surface-level tidy.
Here’s what sets this place apart though: the service feels personal without being intrusive. The front desk remembered my name after the first interaction, and when I mentioned I was looking for a good coffee spot nearby, they didn’t just point me to their own restaurant (which actually serves pretty solid breakfast, by the way) but recommended a local place two blocks over that turned out to be fantastic. That kind of local knowledge and willingness to send you elsewhere when it’s genuinely better? That’s rare. The 8.8 rating makes complete sense once you’ve spent a night here – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but everything works exactly as it should. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi actually functioned properly throughout the building, and checkout was refreshingly quick. If you’re looking for a place where you can count on getting a solid night’s sleep and wake up feeling like the staff is rooting for you to have a good trip, this is your spot.
To book hotel in Tbilisi during the famous Tbilisi Jazz Festival season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts wine enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

The hotel was perfectly clean and so beautiful. Everything is new, there is everything you need in the room (bottled water, toothbrushes). Breakfast is good and tasty. The hotel is located in the city centre, but it's quiet and cozy.

A clean cozy hotel, with nice clean rooms, and complimentary breakfast, we were lucky enough to get parking right at the hotel doors. The location is awesome, with plenty of restaurants around the street.

A buffet breakfast provided in a very pleasant room. Good standard, This hotel is not just clean; it's spotless. Very impressed. Lovely bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice quiet room. The hotel location is very good, in a nice area with plenty of shops and eating places. To the heart of Tbilisi however it is about 30 minutes walk.
