I arrived at the Romantic View on Shio Chitadze Street, tucked in the heart of Tbilisi. The moment I stepped out of the curbside taxi, the scent of freshly baked khachapuri from the bakery on the corner hit me—sweet, buttery, just the kind of aroma that makes you feel like you’re home. The building itself is a charming blend of Georgian classicism and modern chic; a neatly painted façade with a single brass door that feels like a portal into a quieter world. Check‑in was surprisingly smooth: a friendly front desk lady greeted me with a warm smile and a quick, “Good morning, welcome to Romantic View.” She handed me a key card that glowed with that soft blue light you see in most hotels, and then pointed out the elevator that takes you straight to your floor—no maze of corridors, which is a relief after walking through the bustling streets of Mtatsminda.

My room was a well‑thought‑out sanctuary. A four‑square‑meter balcony opened onto a sweeping view of the city’s hills and the distant, hazy outline of the Mtatsminda Park amusement park. The beds were surprisingly plush, with a mix of memory foam and feather pillows that let me transition from a restless night to a dreamy sleep in no time. The bathroom, although a bit on the snug side, was impeccably clean and stocked with artisanal soaps that carried a hint of lavender. I spent a morning scrolling through the Wi‑Fi, only to realize that the signal can be a bit spotty when the city is buzzing—half an hour of buffering before I got a decent connection. It’s a minor hiccup, but worth noting if you’re planning a video call during your stay. The in‑room dining area is surprisingly cozy, with a small table that faces the balcony, perfect for sipping a cup of Georgian black coffee while watching the city wake up. The staff were attentive but respectful, and they offered a free bottle of local wine on arrival, which was a sweet, thoughtful touch.

Beyond the room, the hotel’s location strikes a balance between quiet and convenience. A short, three‑minute walk brings you to the entrance of Mtatsminda Park, where you can catch the early morning joggers or, at sunset, watch the tower lights flicker on.   The check-in process was pretty seamless – just needed to contact and notify the landlord who arrived within 10 minutes. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the location is really nice for those who are interested in being a bit closer Mtatsminda/Funicular. It's a heavily trafficked street and not the best location for folks who might struggle with more challenging walking (it's up on the hill so there is a decent incline walk to get there). But overall we found it really comfortable. It's also helpful to get out of the center of the more tourist area to enjoy other parts of the city.
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing we didn't like about it beyond some uncontrollable issues like noisy road traffic – but it doesn't drastically affect the overall enjoyment of the location.

  The apartment meets all your needs, very clean and very well equipped with everything you need. The host is helpful and kind in everything. The environment is also beautiful, with a wonderful view of the mountains. It is really close to the city center, but a steep street leads to the apartment, if you can't or don't like to walk, it can be done cheaply in a few minutes by taxi. The building, staircase, corridors… everything is of high quality and clean, the neighbors are quiet. I recommend it to everyone who wants to spend their free time in a pleasant, modern apartment in a nice, quiet environment, but still close to the center. I also thank the kind host afterwards.
  
  What could be improved: There could be a door between the bedroom and the living room so that non-early risers can sleep when others are already awake. 🙂

  הכל היה מדהים, הדירה הכי גדולה שהייתי בה בטביליסי או באטומי, יותר טוב מהמלון!!! חדר רחצה ומכונת כביסה גדולים, סלון ענק ומרפסת נוחה, מיטה גדולה ישנו בה זוג וילדה בת שנתיים. השוכר פגש אותם הסביר הכל עזר לנו בהכל היה ממש נחמד וחמוד אלינו. היה בדירה הכל כדי לבשל המון צלחות המון כוסות סכום בקיצור הכל. נמצא ממש מול הפולקלור לפארק השעשועים על ההר. הנוף מהמם בהחלט יחזור שוב פעם ממליצה בחום
