The building itself looks like a quiet, modern apartment building, but inside it’s all polished wood, soft lighting, and a little bit of Georgian flair that makes you feel like you’re in a friend’s living room. I mean, the lobby has a giant photo of the Mtkvari River that looks like a postcard, but the real showstopper is the panoramic window that gives you a 360‑degree view of the city – perfect for watching the sunset over Mtatsminda Park while sipping a latte.

Check‑in was surprisingly breezy. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke a mix of English and Georgian, which felt like a small cultural gift. They handed me a keycard and a quick map of the neighborhood, pointing out that the nearest metro station is just a two‑minute walk down Rustaveli Avenue, and that the famous sulfur baths are a short bus ride away if you’re up for a cultural plunge. The room itself was clean, with a king bed that had a memory foam mattress I’d actually want to sleep on again. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but the shower had a nice pressure and a little tile mosaic that caught the light just right. I did notice the Wi‑Fi was a bit flaky after midnight, but the hotel does offer a free Wi‑Fi password on the welcome board.

The real charm of River View is in the little details. The breakfast nook has a window that lets in the aroma of fresh Georgian pastries and the hum of the city – I could hear people bargaining on the nearby market stalls and the distant call of a tuk‑tuk driver. They serve a decent selection of local cheeses, fresh fruit, and, honestly, there’s a small selection of homemade jams that you can’t find anywhere else. Parking is a mixed bag: street parking is free but can be tight, while the hotel offers a paid valet service that takes you to a nearby underground lot. Noise-wise, it’s quiet enough to sleep through the night, though early morning traffic on Artur Laisti Street can be a bit loud. I’d recommend arriving after 11 a.m. to avoid the rush. Overall, River View feels like a home away from home in Tbilisi – it’s comfortable, convenient, and has that genuine, laid‑back vibe that makes you want to stay a bit longer. If you’re planning a trip, give this place a shot; you won’t be disappointed.

  We are absolutely thrilled with this accommodation! The apartment is cozy and spacious, the interior is beautiful, and everything is clean. The kitchen is fully equipped, and most importantly, there are tea, coffee, and various spices, so you don't have to go to the store to buy everything. There’s plenty of storage space there. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is clean. We were also happy with our communication with the host. And the view of Tbilisi from the balcony is simply heartwarming, especially at the night.

  Very clean, modern and cozy apartment. Beautiful view from the window, convenient location. Takes about 8 minutes by taxi to get to the town center. Very lovely and helpful owners. We had a lovely Eater surprise waiting for us on the table upon our arrival, special thank you for that!
  Self check-in was very helpful, because we arrived and left early in the morning.
