The first thing you notice when you walk in is how the sound changes – there’s this subtle shift from city noise to something softer, and you realize it’s actually the river you’re hearing. The apartments face the water directly, which means you’re waking up to that gentle sound instead of traffic. I stayed there during what turned out to be a pretty busy weekend in town, but inside it felt like this peaceful bubble. The 4-star rating isn’t just about thread count and marble counters (though those are nice too) – it’s really about how they’ve thought through the details. Like, the windows are these huge floor-to-ceiling things that slide open completely, so you can actually sit with your morning coffee and feel connected to the water, not just looking at it through glass.

What I appreciated most was how it strikes this balance between hotel service and apartment living. You get housekeeping and a proper front desk – the check-in was smooth, no fumbling with lockboxes or weird key pickup situations – but you also have a real kitchen and space to spread out. I ended up cooking a few meals there because, honestly, sometimes you just want to grab groceries and have breakfast without getting dressed and going downstairs. The kitchen setup is actually functional too, not one of those hotel kitchenettes where you’re trying to chop vegetables with a butter knife. And speaking of practical stuff – parking was straightforward, which saved me from circling blocks with my luggage.

The 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there. It’s not flashy or trying too hard to impress you with over-the-top amenities, but everything just works really well. The Wi-Fi was solid (I was working some evenings), the water pressure was great, and the beds were that perfect firmness where you actually sleep through the night. I think what bumps it up to that high rating level is how they’ve avoided the usual apartment-hotel pitfalls – you know, when places feel either too sterile and hotel-like, or too residential and impersonal. This felt like staying at a really well-appointed friend’s place, if your friend happened to live somewhere with concierge service and daily housekeeping. The location puts you close enough to walk to restaurants and shops, but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with late-night noise. I’d definitely go back – actually, I’m already thinking about it for my next trip through the area.

The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped to provide all one would need for a convenient stay. No hassles for food and other essential items with a small supermarket downstairs in the building; it's also quite easy to access the old town due to the proximity of bus stops. Dari is a friendly host, who provided clear instructions and a warm welcome, made this just perfect for staying in!
