Regraph Hotel Overview
I was wandering through the winding streets of Chugureti, the neighborhood that feels like a quiet suburb tucked inside the heart of Tbilisi, when I spotted the modest, slightly crooked façade of the Regraph Hotel. It’s not the kind of place that screams “luxury” on the billboard, but there’s an understated charm that instantly made me feel like I was stepping into a friend’s apartment rather than a corporate hotel. The building’s paint is a faded beige, and the small wrought‑iron sign says Regraph—no fancy glass or neon. As soon as I pushed the door open, a subtle scent of fresh laundry and citrus from the lobby cleaner washed over me, mixing with the faint whiff of roasted coffee from the corner café.
Check‑in was a breeze, thanks to the staff’s friendly banter. “Good evening, we’re just getting ready for the night shift,” the receptionist joked, while she rang up my key card. The lobby is low‑key: a couple of mismatched armchairs, a small potted fern that’s been thriving despite the winter chill, and a soft jazz playlist that keeps the noise level pleasantly low. I was surprised to hear the distant traffic from Gabriel Sundukiani Street, but the building’s walls are thick enough that you can’t hear the rumble of buses unless you’re standing too close to the elevator. Parking is a bit of a hunt; there’s a small, pay‑and‑display lot right across the street, but if you’re willing to walk a block, you’ll find free street parking in the quieter lanes of Tamaz Gamkrelidze. I marked the spot with a bright orange umbrella—easy to spot if you’re looking for it.
The room was cozy, about 12 square meters, but the layout is clever. A single queen bed with crisp white linens, a small desk that fits a laptop and a stack of magazines, and a tiny kitchenette that includes a kettle, a coffee maker, and a selection of teas. The bathroom is a bit on the cheap side, with a shower that has a decent water pressure but a tiny tile floor that can get slippery if you’re not careful. The Wi‑Fi was spotty at first—I had to reboot the router twice—but once it stuck, the connection was solid enough for streaming a movie. I’ll admit the room was a tad chilly in the mornings, but there’s a small electric heater that’s surprisingly efficient.
One of the best things about staying here is the proximity to the cultural spots that locals love. I’m just a ten‑minute walk to the Georgian National Museum, and the next block hosts the bustling market where vendors sell fresh bread, cheese, and the most aromatic saffron. The next morning, I grabbed a steaming bowl of khinkali from a street stall right outside the hotel—golden crust, juicy filling, and a hint of lemon that made the whole experience feel like a secret shared between us. The hotel’s location also puts you within a quick ride to the old town’s cobblestone lanes—perfect for a sunset stroll.
Overall, the Regraph Hotel is a solid choice for anyone who values a relaxed vibe without the tourist crowds. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind, enjoy the local flavor, and still have a comfortable stay. The staff’s warmth, the thoughtful touches in the room, and the easy access to the city’s hidden gems make for a memorable visit. I left feeling satisfied, a little bit more in love with Tbilisi, and already planning my next trip back.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Tbilisi at least two months ahead for major events like wine festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near cultural attractions.

Warm heart , kindness , hospitality – Shan from China – June 17, 2025 (10/10)
This is my first time in Tbilisi, and I chose your hotel. From the moment we landed at the airport, we received free transfer to the hotel, and upon check-in, they proactively helped with our luggage, making us feel like we had returned to a warm home in Tbilisi. The mattress was very soft and comfortable, and the layout of the bathroom was excellent, equipped with very good toiletries. The breakfast the next morning was also very authentic and delicious. Since we needed to catch an early bus to another city, the hotel kindly arranged to drive us to the bus station, making us really feel like we were family in Tbilisi. The hotel's location is also great; it only takes a few minutes to walk to a very lively pedestrian street with many restaurants and bars, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
