Reed Hotel Tbilisi Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Reed Hotel Tbilisi, you immediately notice how it sits perfectly at the corner of two streets in one of the city’s quieter residential areas. The building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention — which honestly feels refreshing after seeing so many over-the-top hotel facades. It’s a four-star property that knows exactly what it is, and there’s something reassuring about that confidence. The entrance welcomes you with a sense of calm sophistication that sets the tone for your entire stay.
Location & Getting Around
The hotel’s positioned in a part of Tbilisi where you get a real sense of how locals actually live, away from the tourist crowds around Old Town. Dimitri Gulia Street is lined with those classic Tbilisi balconies, and you’re close enough to walk to the main sights but far enough to sleep peacefully at night. What I really appreciated was the free private parking — if you’re driving in Georgia, you know how valuable that is, especially in the capital where finding a decent parking spot can be a nightmare. The neighborhood offers authentic local restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.
The Room Experience
My room had this clean, contemporary design that felt genuinely comfortable rather than trying too hard to impress. The windows are large enough to let in plenty of natural light, and the beds are actually supportive — you know how hotel mattresses can be hit or miss. The bathroom was well-appointed with good water pressure, which might sound basic but trust me, it matters after a long day exploring the city’s hills. Each room is thoughtfully appointed with modern amenities and attention to detail.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is pretty solid — they offer both continental and buffet options, so whether you’re someone who just wants coffee and pastries or you need a proper meal to start your day, you’re covered. The restaurant area has this warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over background noise. I noticed quite a few couples during my stay, which makes sense given how the whole place has this intimate, relaxed vibe that works well for romantic getaways. The dining experience reflects genuine Georgian hospitality and culinary traditions.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it strikes that perfect balance between being professional and personal. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable without being overly formal about it. You get the amenities and service level you’d expect from a four-star hotel, but with this authentic Georgian warmth that you can’t manufacture. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere special, offering excellent value in a city like Tbilisi where tourism is booming and quality accommodations are increasingly in demand.

Reviews of Reed Hotel Tbilisi

The ambiance of hotel is very modern. It is clean and the staff were prompt. The location of the hotel is also good you just need to really go out and discover it. There are near store and pharmacy. The hotel is also good in security because they wont allow outsiders to come unless they have the elevator card. They are so nice that they gave us wine as gift during our wedding. The food are also good and enjoyed it a lot. Definitely will come back to this hotel if we will come back to Georgia.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Reed Hotel Tbilisi. From the moment we walked in, We were greeted with warm hospitality and professionalism. The receptionist, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions.
The hotel itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had a cozy atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for. The staff throughout the hotel were equally accommodating and made me feel at home.
Overall, our experience at Reed Hotel was outstanding, largely thanks to the exception service provided by SHALVA, we highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Shout out to my friend LUCKY (the cat was so friendly we wish we could bring you home.)Sunil from Kuwait (9/10)
