Redrum Tbilisi Boutique Hotel Overview
When I first stepped onto Ovanes Tumaniani Street 1, the city already wrapped around me with that familiar mix of old stone and fresh espresso. The building itself feels like a quiet underground jazz club—soft lighting, a faint scent of cedar from the lobby walls, and a hum of conversation that whispers through the hallway. The front desk is staffed by a couple of locals who greet you with a warm smile and a quick, “Hi! How can I help?” The check‑in process was surprisingly swift; I didn’t have to wait in a long line, but the key card system was a little finicky—one card had a couple of dead bumps that made it a tiny bit frustrating to swipe. Still, the staff made it up to me with a free cappuccino, and you can tell they really care about a smooth start.
The rooms themselves are a lovely blend of modern minimalism and Georgian charm. The walls are a muted gray, punctuated by hand‑painted murals of the city’s famous bridges. The bed is plush, with linens that feel like a gentle hug. I could hear the soft click‑clack of the street below, but the windows are double‑glazed, so it’s not a constant rush of traffic. The bathroom is a small oasis—an oversized shower with a rainhead that feels like a waterfall on a hot summer day, and the toiletries are local, with a hint of rosewater. I did notice the minibar was a bit overpriced, but the complimentary tea set and the free Wi‑Fi (which is fast enough to stream a documentary) more than made up for it. Parking is a bit of a hassle; the building’s basement is the only option and it fills up quickly, so you might need to look for street parking a few blocks away—just be ready to pay a decent fee.
If you’re looking to explore, the hotel’s location is a real gem. The city is a stone’s throw away from the Old Town and the bustling Rustaveli Avenue, so you can walk to the Bridge of Peace and the sulfur baths without a car. I took a little detour to a tiny café on the corner of 1st Street, and the owner gave me a free decaf latte because she noticed I was a newcomer—small gestures that make you feel at home. The noise level is moderate; you’ll hear the city at night, but the hotel’s soundproofing keeps the chatter from the lobby at a comfortable distance. If you’re traveling in spring or early autumn, the streets are lively but not overwhelming. In the winter, the air is crisp, and the early morning coffee heat is a lifesaver. All in all, Redrum Tbilisi Boutique Hotel feels like a cozy, well‑tuned apartment in the heart of Tbilisi, with the right balance of local flavor and modern convenience.

We had such a cute room. It was super clean, beautiful and everything was working fine.
The location is also great & the stuff was helpful and easy to communicate with.
What could be improved: Nothing was negative in our stayDecent hotel with great staff – Ivan from Belarus – June 12, 2025 (9/10)
Very clean and comfortable space. Perfect location in old town. Very pleasant staff, they offered cleaning every day that we lived. Really good and big bed with lots of pillow (but without blanket, only like duvet cover). Spacious balcony. Also we received a receive a really good bottle of wine like a welcoming gift.
What could be improved: No blanket, only like duvet cover – but it wasn’t big deal – it was pretty comfortable. Bathroom has not aligned tiles on the floor, so water doesn’t drain well and it’s becoming really slippery in there. Little noisy outside (even at night), but it’s price for a decent location. No parking spot for car, it was quite challenging to find it available and free of charge.Thank you Katerina – Fayiz from Saudi Arabia – June 12, 2025 (8/10)
Katerina is an amazing host, pre-arrival she answered all inquiries and arranged the reservation as I wished.
What could be improved: A little bit pricey, but still nice experience.Exceptional – Anup from India – May 28, 2025 (10/10)
