Ramada by Wyndham Tbilisi Old City Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Ramada by Wyndham Tbilisi Old City, you immediately get that “this is exactly where I want to be” feeling. The four-star property sits right in the heart of Tbilisi‘s historic district, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. I mean, you’re literally steps away from the cobblestone streets and those famous sulfur baths that put this city on the map. The building itself has this solid, welcoming presence — not flashy, but you know you’re in good hands.
The Neighborhood Advantage
Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Old Tbilisi. The Narikala Fortress is practically next door (well, a short uphill walk), and those charming wine bars tucked into ancient cellars are all within stumbling distance. You know what’s really nice though? The area gets quiet at night, so you’re not dealing with street noise when you’re trying to sleep. Plus, there’s free private parking right at the hotel, which is honestly a godsend if you’re planning day trips to places like Mtskheta or the wine regions.
Room Comfort and Amenities
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a solid four-star — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything worked perfectly, and the bed was actually really comfortable (you know how hotel beds can be hit or miss). The air conditioning was a lifesaver during those hot summer days, and the WiFi was fast enough for video calls back home. What I appreciated most was the attention to detail — good lighting for reading, plenty of outlets, and a bathroom that felt modern without being sterile.
Breakfast and Dining
The breakfast spread here is honestly impressive — they’ve got everything from a full English breakfast to continental options, plus vegetarian choices that actually look appetizing. I’m talking fresh Georgian bread (which is incredible, by the way), local cheeses, and even some traditional dishes if you’re feeling adventurous. The restaurant area has this warm, inviting atmosphere, and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re well-fed before heading out to explore. It’s the kind of breakfast that keeps you going until late afternoon.
Why Guests Love It
Look, couples especially seem to fall for this place — and I totally get why. There’s something romantic about being in the heart of Old Tbilisi, with all those winding streets and historic charm right outside your door. The hotel strikes that perfect balance between modern comfort and authentic location. You’re not stuck in some generic business district; you’re actually living in the story of this ancient city. The staff knows the area inside and out, so they’ll point you toward the best local wine bars or help you figure out the easiest way to get to the cable car. It’s that combination of genuine hospitality and unbeatable location that keeps people coming back.

Facilities are good, pool and spa is a nice plus. I didn’t notice any loud music (we stayed on the 7th floor). Reception was professional and good.
Maria from United Arab Emirates (8/10)
The staff are wonderful! Sophie and Ladu were incredibly patient and supportive, and another receptionist even gave us a "lunch box" for breakfast as we had to leave for the airport at 3:00 AM. I got the feeling from the buffet area and elevator that the guests of this hotel were pleasant and nice people, mostly families.
It's not within walking distance of the attractions, but by taking a Bolt ride, it will only cost around Lari 5-12 , especially when it's not a busy time.Anuradha from India (9/10)
