Qstay Gratus Tbilisi Overview

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Qstay Gratus Tbilisi – I mean, you know how some newer hotels can feel a bit soulless, right? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. The lobby has this interesting mix of contemporary Georgian design with just enough modern touches that it doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard to be trendy. You walk in and there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about how people move through a space, which sounds weird to say, but you’ll know what I mean when you experience it.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to capture something authentically Tbilisi without falling into that tourist trap aesthetic. The staff – and this is coming from someone who’s stayed in way too many hotels across Georgia – genuinely seem to care about what they’re doing. I had this moment during check-in where the front desk person started explaining not just hotel amenities, but actually gave me solid local recommendations that clearly came from someone who lives here, not from some corporate manual. The rooms themselves are spacious in a way that feels luxurious without being wasteful, if that makes sense. Large windows, proper blackout curtains (thank god), and the beds are honestly some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Eastern Europe. The bathroom situation is particularly well done – good water pressure, which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the world, and they’ve got those little details right, like actual counter space for your stuff.

But here’s what I think sets this place apart – it’s the kind of hotel where you can tell they’ve thought about different types of travelers. Whether you’re here for business, exploring the old town, or using Tbilisi as a base for day trips out into the countryside, everything just works smoothly. The 9.3 rating isn’t just inflated review nonsense; you can feel it in how the place operates day to day. Breakfast is solid without being overwhelming, the common areas actually invite you to linger rather than just pass through, and – this might sound small but it matters – the elevators are quick and quiet. I’ve stayed in supposedly five-star places where you’re waiting forever for a creaky elevator at 7 AM. The location puts you close enough to everything that matters without being right in the middle of tourist chaos, which means you can actually get some sleep at night. After spending time here, I get why people keep coming back to this particular spot in Tbilisi rather than just booking whatever’s cheapest online.

Tbilisi’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with traditional charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this hospitable Georgian capital.

Reviews of Qstay Gratus Tbilisi

I want to tell you about this hotel, while I was staying in another hotel and had to change my place, I came across it by chance.
I want to mention that I didn't expect anything when I left, when I made the reservation, I asked the receptionist to check in early and she agreed. I was impressed with the room, hygiene standards, bed linen, towels, bed size and comfort, layout of the rooms, huge wardrobe, armchair and two balconies, I did not expect such a cool result, because it is rare for small hotels to be so tidy. Especially in big brand hotels this is not the case, which I found surprising. Many thanks to Roomservice for this and the team.

Qstay is located just behind the main road , Davit Aghmashenebeli Ave. It is just a hop and skip to this road with all the restaurants, banks.
The road adjacent to this place is the embankment.

I have to say we rented the penthouse. IT WAS AMAZING! The terrace was like a dream, overlooking the beautiful city of Tbilisi surely made this stay our highlight of the trip! The room is also well fitted with kitchen equipments and is very spacious. Oh also the washroom has a bidet/ hand shower which made our stay much more comfortable. Will definitely stay here again!

We felt like miljonairs here. Such a luxurious and spacious place. Enormous balcony. I thought that booking made a mistake because of the low price. We will book it 100% again when we will visit Tbilisi again.

    Parking included

The man of the reception was great, he helped us with finding a great local restaurant.

A great serviced apartment. Had everything we would need when travelling with a 2 years old. Very close to old town Tbilisi and very close to shops with all basic daily needs stuff. They also have a private parking which was really helpful.
