The Room Experience

My room had this perfect balance of Georgian character and modern comfort that’s honestly hard to find. The ceilings were high with original moldings, but the bathroom was completely updated with a rainfall shower that actually had proper water pressure. What I loved was the attention to local details — handwoven textiles on the bed, artwork from Georgian artists on the walls. The windows opened onto the quiet square below, and I actually kept them open most nights because the area stays surprisingly peaceful even in the city center.

The American-style breakfast was better than I expected, though I’ll be honest — I was hoping for more Georgian options. Still, the quality was solid, and they clearly source good ingredients. The parking situation deserves a mention because finding free parking in central Tbilisi is basically winning the lottery. They’ve got their own spots, which saved me probably 20 lari a day and a lot of stress navigating those narrow old town streets with a rental car.

  Two key highlights for me was the location as its situated in the middle of the most popular places and amazing garden squares. The hotel building is in the old town but the exteriors and interiors are modern and so pretty. The staff were very nice and helpful.

  We were so thrilled with our stay at Puris. The hotel is a beautifully renovated old building in Tbilisi just a short walk to freedom square. The room was lovely and spacious.. the staff were so friendly and so accommodating. We arrived very early in the morning and had booked our room for that night and not from the previous day… the staff and management was so great; they accommodated an early check in without any fuss or condition as some other hotels would have asked us to pay for an extra night. We also downgraded from a suite to a normal room the day we were leaving because we had a very late flight.. again the room was ready; we didn’t have to wait between the chick out and check in time.. so it made our stay oh so easy and oh so comfortable. The rooms are clean, spacious and pretty.
