Paragraph Freedom Square, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Tbilisi Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first heard about Paragraph Freedom Square, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Tbilisi – I mean, the name alone sounds like someone threw a bunch of fancy words together. But honestly, this place completely caught me off guard in the best possible way.
The location is absolutely killer – you’re literally steps away from Freedom Square (hence the name, I guess), which means you’re in the thick of everything that matters in Tbilisi. I could walk to the sulfur baths in Abanotubani in about fifteen minutes, and Rustaveli Avenue with all its theaters and cafes is right there. What I really loved though was stepping out in the early morning when the city’s still waking up – you get this amazing view of the old town climbing up the hillside, and you can actually hear the church bells from various directions. The hotel itself sits in this restored building that somehow manages to feel both grand and intimate at the same time.
The rooms are seriously impressive – I stayed on the fourth floor and had these massive windows that flooded everything with light during the day. The design walks this interesting line between modern luxury and subtle Georgian touches, though I’ll be honest, some of the Georgian elements feel a bit… curated? Like they’re trying just a touch too hard to be authentic. But the beds are fantastic (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms have this rainfall shower that I probably spent too much time in. What really got me was the attention to small details – good reading lights, outlets where you actually need them, and the AC that doesn’t sound like a freight train.
The staff genuinely knows their stuff about the city, which isn’t always a given at international hotel chains. When I asked about finding khachapuri that wasn’t touristy, the concierge didn’t just point me to some fancy restaurant – he actually walked me outside and showed me which direction to head for this little place his grandmother likes. I mean, that’s the kind of local knowledge you hope for but rarely get. The breakfast spread was solid too, mixing international options with Georgian specialties, though it does get pretty crowded around 9 AM when all the tour groups descend.
If I’m being completely honest, you’re paying luxury prices here – this isn’t a budget pick by any stretch. But for what you get, especially considering you’re in the heart of old Tbilisi with that level of service and comfort, it actually feels worth it. The whole experience just flows smoothly, from check-in to exploring the neighborhood to coming back after a long day of wandering those crazy winding streets. It’s one of those places where you feel like you’re experiencing the city rather than just visiting it, if that makes sense.
The luxury concierge service in Tbilisi offers personalized access to traditional Georgian cooking classes, premium wine tastings, and VIP cultural events in this charming Old Town with its distinctive balconied architecture.

One thing i can sey is that paragraph didn’t disappoint in terms of hospitality. Tbh within our stay in georgia this is the only hotel where we really feel that georgian hospitality. I mean we like the country overall but a lot of georgians are just really serious i can say most of them and we didnt feel welcome at all and some are really not having it in terms of behavior but our stay in this hotel being on our last day have turn things upside down and made our last day stay truly unforgettable. My kids love the overall amenities, we had book the junior executive suite and i can say its a room that wont dissappoint you got the entire view of the city within such a magical ambiance. Also special mention to all the staff from reception, to bell boy, waiters to other hotel staff and up to the driver who took us back to the airport.. and also special mention to giorgi from the swimming pool who gladly help me kids and giving such a pleasant genuine smile to help.. and lastly to whoever is leading the hospitality department of this hotel you are doing a great job so keep it up!!

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The hotel organised the pick-up from the airport and we were able to start our holiday in comfort. The check-in worked well, we even got recommendations for good restaurants and tours. Our room had everything you could wish for, a cosy bed and a very well-stocked minibar with plenty of water and wine. The view was unique. The bathroom is spacious and there were plenty of towels and bathrobes. The spa was very well maintained and we were able to start each day there in a relaxed manner. Three different saunas and a steam bath and even a room full of ice rounded off our relaxation. Every evening there was a free wine tasting, which helped us a lot to learn new things about Georgia and the country's wines.
The rooftop bar has a wonderful view over the whole city. The location of the hotel was perfect, in the centre of the city, everything was within walking distance. All in all, I can really recommend the hotel. We would love to come back.Marwa from United Arab Emirates (10/10)
