When I first stepped out of the airport, the city of Tbilisi greeted me with that familiar mix of old stone and new energy that only a place like this can have. The drive to the Orbeliani Residence felt like a gentle climb up Mtatsminda, and by the time the car pulled into the street parking—there’s a small lot right in front of the building that you can snag a spot in even during the peak of the summer crowds—I was already catching my breath. Check‑in was quick and friendly; the front desk staff gave me a map with a few local tips, like how to get to the park in a hop, skip, and a jump, and a small welcome gift of locally roasted coffee beans (you know what? I couldn’t resist trying them in the tiny lounge). The lobby itself is cozy, with exposed brick walls that give it a lofty feel, and a soft hum of people chatting in the background. I felt the faint scent of freshly cut grass from the nearby park, and the distant laughter from the amusement rides, which makes the place feel alive without being overwhelmingly noisy.
The room was a neat, modern slice of comfort. I slept like a king on a mattress that felt like a cloud, and the balcony offered a panoramic view of the city’s skyline against the backdrop of the Mtkvari River. The room’s decor is minimal but functional, with a touch of Georgian art on the walls that made me feel like I was staying in a chic townhouse rather than a hotel. The Wi‑Fi was decent—though a bit spotty when the park was full of people, but that’s just the way it is in an urban setting like this. Breakfast was a delightful surprise: a spread of local pastries, fresh fruit, and a strong Georgian coffee that didn’t disappoint. I could hear the clink of cups and the murmur of other guests, which added to the authentic vibe.
Honestly, the only thing that could use a tweak is the room’s storage space; I found myself stacking my clothes on the floor a bit

  Very nice host. Lana is so patient to solve our problems. After check out, she also help us to storage luggage. The room is big and has all the facilities we need. Really like a home. The location is also great, near supermarket and liberty square.
