Old Tbilisi Located Near Botanical Garden Overview
Tbilisi is a city that never lets you settle into just one rhythm, and staying at Old Tbilisi Located Near Botanical Garden feels like living in its pulse. I arrived on a breezy September afternoon, the kind of weather that turns the city into a watercolor—warm, a little mist over the river, and the scent of fresh bread drifting from a bakery on Gldani Street. The hotel itself sits on Botanikuri Street 36, and the moment I stepped out of the lobby, the first thing that caught my eye was the faint hum of the nearby botanical garden, a green oasis that feels worlds away from the traffic of the main roads.
The check‑in was quick but friendly, with a receptionist who knew my name from a previous stay and handed me a key card with a smile that made me feel like a returning guest rather than a tourist. She pointed out that the small parking lot by the front door is usually full on weekend mornings, so I parked a few blocks down on Mtkvari Avenue—just a short walk and a few minutes of traffic. If you’re traveling with a stroller or a lot of luggage, the hotel’s elevators are spacious but the stairs can be a bit steep for the elderly, so keep that in mind. Noise-wise, the hotel’s location is pretty decent; the only real buzz comes from the early‑morning traffic on Tbilisi’s main arteries, but that fades by mid‑afternoon. The rooms themselves are a mix of old charm and modern touches—think exposed brick walls with the soft glow of recessed LED lighting, and a balcony that offers a view of the garden’s towering fig trees.
I spent most of my free time exploring the neighborhood. A quick walk across the street takes you to the historic Old Town, where the cobblestones are still slick from the last rain and vendors sell freshly pressed pomegranate juice. The botanical garden, which is technically a short walk away, is a must‑visit. The scent of damp soil mingles with the sweet perfume of magnolias, and the sound of a nearby fountain is oddly comforting after a long day of sightseeing. For a quick bite, there’s a small café on Gldani Street that serves the best khachapuri I’ve ever tasted—cheesy, buttery, and just the right amount of crunch from the crust. If you’re craving something lighter, the hotel’s breakfast buffet is generous, offering a mix of local pastries, fresh fruit, and a selection of teas that will keep you sipping for a while.
Honestly, I’d say the best part of staying here is the genuine warmth of the staff. They’re not just service workers; they’re locals who love to share stories about the city’s hidden gems. One evening, a concierge mentioned a small jazz club on Mtatsminda Road that only a handful of tourists know about, and I ended up spending the night there, listening to a quartet that played everything from Georgian folk tunes to modern jazz standards. And when I mentioned that I’d like to explore the city in the evenings, the same staff member suggested a quiet rooftop bar on the opposite side of the street with a view of the illuminated city—something that felt like a personal invitation rather than a generic recommendation.
If you’re planning a trip to Tbilisi, I’d say Old Tbilisi Located Near Botanical Garden offers a balance of comfort and authenticity that’s hard to find elsewhere. The location is close enough to the city’s cultural heart but far enough to hear the city breathe. The hotel’s small but functional amenities, the friendly staff, and the nearby green oasis make it a spot where you can relax, recharge, and feel like you’re actually part of the city’s everyday life. And when you leave, you’ll carry the scent of figs and the memory of a quiet balcony overlooking the garden, a subtle but lasting reminder that Tbilisi is a place you can return to again and again.
Tbilisi hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Georgia’s cultural capital, known for its legendary wine culture and unique architectural blend.

Had an amazing time. Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. It is located within 5 mins from every possible attraction in Tbilisi including Botanical Garden, Sulfur Baths, Meidan Bazaar, Narikala fortress. It resonates with the vintage feel of Georgia. The owner Karen is so responsive and cooperative,it is unbelievable. The only issue is that since its at the end of a steep slope, it could be trouble for senior citizens. But thats the case with majority of properties in Tbilisi
Would recommend for short stays – Evgeny from Russia – November 30, 2024 (9/10)
Amazing property in a very interesting place, really well done interior, clean and cozy
What could be improved: Having a washing machine would be great, but the place is too small for itExceptional – Syeda from United Arab Emirates – September 13, 2024 (10/10)

The location is just perfect, the place is cozy and clean, the host is very helpful and responses immediately when needed
What could be improved: It's on a steep slope, which is normal for Tbilisi, just has to be noted for people with trouble walkingIt was a pleasant stay. The owner was always available for us! – Sagari from India – May 19, 2024 (6/10)
The location is in the old town and very close to all the major attractions
What could be improved: The bed cover was too small for the bed. The dining area was a little small and so is the washroomGreat value for money – Anonymous from United Kingdom – July 1, 2025 (9/10)
Great stay in central Tbilisi – very convenient location and well-equipped, quiet space. The hosts communicated with us promptly, answering all our questions and accommodating to all of our needs (we arrived and left fairly late/early). The place is nice and tidy, there was a fan/air conditioning/heating unit – so you can adjust the temperature any time of the year. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall, extremely good value for money.
What could be improved: The bed was not the most comfortable, but it did a good job for a week's stay.
